It's a nice upgrade for Toyota Corolla

2014 Toyota Corolla
Alpine Sound System Upgrade for Toyota Corolla 2014 - UP I purchased this Alpine Sound System Upgrade thinking it was a simple Toyota OEM upgrade... take the passenger seat out plug in the unit and install the passenger seat back in... WRONG! I had to fix the bracket that holds the amp the holes did not line up. CONS: 1. The instructions need to be more detailed. 2. The printed guide that came with the kit was incorrect for a connection to the sub. It has both the speaker inputs and the RCA's plugged in at the same time, and of course it's either one or the other, not both. The guide that's online is actually correct, so I would recommend using that one instead of the printed one. 3. WAY OVERPRICED for the amount of work I put in. It took me 7 hours to install...!!!) 4. Powered sub-woofer blocks passenger floor vent... violating Alpines own warning
Pros: 1. Good customer/tech support from Crutchfield 2. As far as connections to the amp, sub, and radio, it is truly plug and play. Keep in mind you do need to run the power wire from the battery through the firewall, which was a bit of a pain, but once I figured out to just remove the rubber boot and poke a hole through it, it was much easier.
