PAC APH-FD01 interface

PAC's APH-FD01 speaker wiring interface allows you to add an aftermarket amplifier or amplifiers in select 2007-2017 Ford and Lincoln vehicles with factory amplified sound systems. The APH-FD01 connects to the plug on your factory amp that combines all the speaker wires coming out of your factory amp (you will need to make hardwire connections at the aftermarket amplifier). You won't have to cut off any plugs — you'll need to leave the factory amp connected. This interface requires PAC's AP4-FD11 or AP4-FD21 AmpPRO modules (sold separately). Warranty: 1 year.

Amplifier Installation Harness: The APH-FD01 installation harness simplifies speaker wire connections when using one of PAC's AmpPRO modules AP4-FD11 and AP4-FD21 (both sold separately) to add an aftermarket amplifier or amplifiers in select 2007-2017 Ford and Lincoln vehicles that feature factory amplified sound systems. The APH-FD01 keeps you from having to cut or modify your vehicle's original factory wiring, providing a direct connection at the vehicle's original factory amplifier location (you will need to make hardwire connections at the aftermarket amplifier/s).

Note: 47Ω/5W resistors have been added to the amplifier side of the harness with the "gray" connector to retain the safety and warning chimes when they are played through the factory door speakers.

Vehicle Compatibility: The PAC The APH-FD01 installation harness can be used in the following 2007-2017 Ford and Lincoln vehicles with factory amplified sound systems (requires compatible PAC AmpPRO module - AP4-FD11 and AP4-FD21).

Will this work without the pac module ? 2 existing answers say yes and another says no .

there is no reference for rear tweeters. will this still work with sony factory system 2016 F350 ?

If I remember correctly the rear speakers only have one speaker lead going into the door. It splits and goes to the tweeter which has its own X-over.

Yes it will work but you will need to cut the wires to the rear tweeters and run them Seperately since the rear mid and tweet is run on the same output.

these are just break out plugs that allows you interface other equipment with out cutting factory wiring, give you an idea of what wires are what. great item I used it on my 2018 focus ST Sony system.

Yes it will. It is simply put a T harness that allows you to plug into your oem harness with out having to cut and splice your stock harness. This is for your speaker connection Hope . this helps .

If I bypass the factory amp do I still retain all factory chimes and sounds?

You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Is this like a piggy back for the audio cables off of the factory amp? I'm wanting to add an additional amp with my existing factory amp, and don't want to have to splice into factory wiring.

Yes, it essentially allows you splice connections in between without having to cut your factory harness. I assume you are adding in a sub amp, in which case I would not splice the sub output, as tests have showed it clips. I would splice off of one of the door speakers instead then do your hi to low conversion from that.

These plug into the harnesses that plug into the amp. So yes you unplug the sony amp, plug into these PAC harnesses and you do not have to splice the factory harness. It does exactly what you are wanting.
