The BB10-1V ported enclosure holds one 10" subwoofer and offers an internal volume of 1.2 cubic feet. Its large vents feature rounded inner corners that keep port noise to a minimum for more accurate response. Just add the right sub, amp, and wiring, then mount the enclosure securely, and you're ready to hit the road with some real bass artillery in your arsenal.

Warning: This enclosure does not include mounting hardware. If you're buying a sub from us, please check "What's in the Box?" to see if screws are included. If not, you should have an assortment of heavy-duty wood screws on hand for the installation.

Sundown meets Sound Ordnance

Woody in sales/service at Crutchfield was very helpful in my decision to go with the 1.20 cubic feet version vs the next size up. It's dead on spec for a ported enclosure and my Sundown SA-10 D4. 1.10 after displacement. Sundown calls for 1.0-1.25 for this driver. If you dig a little deeper on Sundown's website you'll see that the cut out diameter is actually 9.28 instead of 9.25. Went over the cutout with some 40 to 80 grit sandpaper on two short passes and she dropped right in for an airtight seal! This box also fits PERFECTLY in my 2014 Ram Crew cab. Good snug fit between the back of the center console and cup tray. I really dont think I'll need to brace it based on this fit. No more holes drilled in my truck! It was too late to fully tune it without some upset neighbors so I'll follow up with a SQ review shortly. I will say that I measured a consistent 35-32 HZ already which is lower than the 37-38 HZ average on Atrend's E10SV Bbox! I went ahead and dropped one of my older Fosgate P2's into the BBox! Sundown stays in the Bunker! GREAT build...Great terminals too. No leakage along the seams like on the Atrend. Very impressed! Pushing it with a Rockford Fosgate R500x1d. That's really all you need for a ported box and this beast of a sub!

Pros: Decent net volume in a compact package High quality terminals Great fit for 4th gen Ram Crew cabs

Cons: None

this box completely changed the sound profile in my wife's Buick Enclave. started with a sealed box, was not happy, ordered this and was very impressed. I have a Rockford Fosgate P2-10 wired to 2ohm with an Alpine MRV-M500 amp. everything works very well together.

Pros: Space, sound, price.

Cons: None

Bought this for my jl10w3v3. Was in a sealed box before. After looking into it I decided to go ported. This box is awesome! My sub is twice as loud and am getting great bass at lower volumes! Dont hesitate.

Great, sturdy box

I purchased this box to replace my smaller, sealed box I purchased before I knew the first thing about car audio, and let me tell you, the difference literally blew me away, the bass is so loud and clear and crisp that I had to turn it all the way down, just to hear the music the way I like it. I can already tell this will be my box for my future sub needs...

Pros: strong bass, sturdy construction, looks great

Cons: barely too big to fit in my little coupe's trunk (G35), i had to take out carpet liner in trunk

Incredibly built box

VERY sturdy and well constructed box. Included the internal wiring, as well as dual speaker terminals on back. Connection posts are spring-loaded, and very easy to use. Covering is adhered fully on every part of the box, and matched the trunk carpet perfectly!. Box fit perfectly in the trunk of a Mustang with still some space for other items. We did add fiber stuffing to help richness.

Pros: Sturdy, aesthetic

Cons: internal wires were almost too short.

Nice box

It's a solid box. I have a Memphis m6 4ohm in it. And it sounds good. Lots of air pushing out of the ports. I did however remove one set of wires off the terminal plate because they weren't needed and to keep from rattling inside. I also upgraded the speaker wire off the plate to the sub to 12 ga. The wire that came with it was relatively small for my liking. Other than that it's a good looking simple box.

Pros: Looks good and functions as should.

Cons: 5/8 wall thickness, unneeded two terminals, thin speaker wire

Couldn't have found a better pre made box for my 10 inch Alpine type S. Made the bass deeper and louder. The only thing is that there is some port noise, however I can't hear it while in the driver's seat. I only hear it when I'm right next to the sub. Came with 2 sets of positive and negative terminals which makes wiring easier. Great product. I love it.

Pros: Sub fit perfectly Deeper bass Fairly priced Louder

Cons: Port noise

Not so good, had to get a replacement

TommyM from Davenport, IA on 3/3/2015

It sounded alright but not loud for the wattage. I had to get a box custom made for my Alpine Type R. It slams 2.... maybe 3 times as hard at the same wattage (actually had to check the gain to insure I didn't bump it up on accident.)

Pros: Nice look. Nice construction. Pretty solid. Connectors are the best, hard to find anything like that on custom boxes.

Cons: Not loud. Not a very good bang for buck. Only 5/8 MDF, Let Your Speakers Breath

Great box for a great price

I received the box rather quickly and was pleasantly surprised to find it made of very solid construction. I quickly mounted my sub into it, a 10" RE audio SEx v2 and put it to the test. This ported box moves some serious air. It obviously hits the lows better than higher bass but still, be it country, rock, or rap this box will deliver!

Pros: Very well constructed. Compact enough to fit in a lot of places

Cons: None that ive found yet

Big sound

Eric from Texas on 12/3/2014

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

I recently purchased 2 of these boxes to house a pair of Infinity Reference 1062 DVC's powered by 600.1 rms class d amp. I wanted to go for increased spl without spending a whole lot on the subs so I elected to go with the vented enclosure, and was not disappointed. The Reference 1062 had impressive numbers for their price being tested in a 1.75 cu. ft. vented enclosure. This is why I went with the slightly larger bass bunker at 1.2 cu. ft. They put out alot more bass than my 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect DVQ's that cost 3x as much and have twice as much power going to them only they are using a sealed box which was the recommended enclosure by the manufacturer with 1 cu. ft. per sub. If you can afford the space the lower tuning of the larger bass bunkers is well worth it.

Pros: Great sound, internal bracing, dual terminals, hatchback design, tuning level.

Cons: Would like to have seen 3/4" MDF rather than 5/8". 12 gauge copper wiring inside the enclosure would probably match what more people are running to the enclosure, but I'm sure what I assume to be 14 gauge aluminum wiring is probably more than enough to get the job done.
