Features

Satellite Radio Adapter: The iDataLink Maestro HNR-ANT-SAT2 enables the use of a vehicle's factory satellite antenna with an aftermarket satellite radio tuner. This eliminates the need to install or mount an aftermarket antenna or modify the factory connector when adding an aftermarket satellite radio tuner.

  • Vehicle Compatibility: The HNR-ANT-SAT2 is compatible with all factory single-wire satellite radio antennas using a FAKRA connector (Chrysler, Ford, GM, VW and more). The factory satellite radio connection must be at the radio location. Click here for a list of compatible vehicles.
  • Satellite Radio Tuner Compatibility: The SMB connector on other end supports most aftermarket satellite radio tuners (like the SXV100, SXV200, and SXV300 SiriusXM satellite radio tuners; all sold separately).

Q
Will this work to convert my antenna to my dual radio ?
myah  Mar 21, 2023
1 answer
A
Greetings Myah, and thank you for your question. This would not be the correct adapter to use your factory radio antenna. This would adapt a factory satellite radio antenna to an aftermarket satellite radio tuner in certain vehicles.

Q
Will this harness work with an alpine ilx-w650 going to a 2012 ram 1500 sxm antenna?
joseph  Jan 29, 2023
1 answer
A
This will be compatible with your truck and can be used with the SXV300V1 tuner, which will connect to the back of the Alpine iLX-W650. It will be necessary to have both the SAT2 adapter and the SXV300V1 in order to use SiriusXM with the iLX-W650 in your truck. Here's a link to the SXV300V1 tuner for reference: www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV300/item.html

It does look like the iDatalink SAT2 will work on your 2012 Ram 1500 to use the factory XM antenna, Joe. You will also need the SiriusXM SXV300V1 tuner in the link below with the Alpine iLX-W650, so make sure to grab one too! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV300/SiriusXM-SXV300V1-Tuner.html

Q
Can this adapter be used to connect a new aftermarket satellite antenna to my existing 2010 Subaru Outback factory satellite radio?
gerald  Nov 29, 2022

A
Greetings Gerald, and thank you for your question. No sir it will not adapt the factory tuner toan aftermarket antenna. Just an aftermarket tuner to the factory satellite antenna.

Q
Could this fit in a 2011 buick regal cxl?
face703  Nov 09, 2022
1 answer
A
This iDatalink SAT2 will not fit your 2011 Buick Regal CXL sadly, Alle. If you are planning to use the XM tuner below you will have to run the SAT antenna in the included kit with your vehicle. Sorry for the bad news! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV300/SiriusXM-SXV300V1-Tuner.html

Q
Will this adapter work to connect an existing sat radio antenna on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler (No alpine system originally, just the base unit with SiriusXM,) to a new Onyx Plus radio?
jim  Oct 23, 2022
1 answer
A
The SAT2 will fir the 2016 Wrangler, and technically the SMB connector will plug into the antenna input of the Onyx base. However, we have not tested this combination and cannot guarantee compatibility.

Q
Will this work on 2011 f150 to retain factory xm antenna on kenwood dmx47s?
duston  Aug 11, 2022
1 answer
A
This will work with a 2011 F-150 to keep the factory satellite radio antenna working. It will also be necessary to use an SXV300V1 tuner with an aftermarket radio, including the DMX47S. For help with putting together all of the necessary parts for the installation, please give us a call at 1-800-324-9695.

Q
I purchased the Sony xav-ax5500 to replace my factory Wrangler JK radio that already has XM so I can get Car play. Do I need to buy the SXV300 connect vehicle tuner or can I just use this iDatalink to connect the the factory antenna (curry colored item)? Please advise

My Ram had factory XM. I bought a Pioneer head unit and needed to buy both the SXV300 and the iDatalinkSat2 to plug in and use the factory XM antenna with the new headunit. But it beats having to string a whole new antenna through, which someone had mistakenly told me to do
jay  Apr 12, 2022
A
You will need to purchase the iDatalink Cable and the SXV300. The cable allows you to use your factory antenna but you must have the SXV300 as it is the Tuner.

Q
Will this let me plug my OEM XM radio antenna into my new Pioneer DMH-2660NEX in my 2015 subaru forester XT with HK system and factory Navigation? The XM radio input will not pop up now that I installed the new Pioneer radio.

You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
Would this be the connector needed for a Peterbilt 567?
ryan  Aug 13, 2021
1 answer
A
It has been several months since I installed my new system in an F150 that had an existing satellite radio receiver and antenna. Without pulling my dashboard apart to look, I am fairly certain this is a short adapter cable. Existing satellite antenna cable plugs into one end. Be safe out there in your big truck!
