Q
I am in need of an adapter to run from a Pioneer DMH 1770NEX to the Toyota factory subwoofer harness. It appears that the single yellow male RCA that is part of your HRN-RR-TO1 Factory Integration Adapter is what I need. The harness I have only hooks to the power out providing speaker wires, nothing to sub. The vehicle is a 2008 FJ Cruiser. Do you believe this to be the correct part? The radio came with a plug that has subwoofer output via a RCA plug.

You can use the HRN-RR-TO1 harness in your 2008 FJ Cruiser 9-speaker setup Rick, but you would also need to use the iDatalink Maestro RR interface in the link below as well. The PAC RP4.2-TY11 harness in the second link below we also show keeping the factory subwoofer functional. If you are using a harness that shows subwoofer retention and also have the 9-speaker NON-JBL radio package originally make sure the "subwoofer" button on the dash is activated as well. I hope this helps! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_794ADSMRR/iDatalink-Maestro-RR-Interface-Module.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_541RP4TY11/PAC-RP4-2-TY11-Wiring-Interface.html

Greetings RDRodg, and thank you for your question. The Idatalink HRN-RR-TO1 also needs the main Idatalink Maestro programmable interface module to work. Please call one of our advisors at 800-324-9695 to see if there is another possible option for your vehicle.

Q
iDatalink Maestro RR has a Pink Cable for Vehicle Speed Data but I can't match it on my Pioneer DMH-1500NEX wire harness? Any idea to use this cable properly with the unit in combination with iDatalink? Or I need to skip this cable? If I skip this cable probably I will not have the speed gauge information on screen correct?
jose  May 30, 2019

A
The Vehicle Speed sensor wire is one that helps a receiver's built-in GPS setup work better so the GPS can track your position when it cannot see the satellites to triangulate your location. So, it's not going to hurt anything that your Pioneer does not have that as an input and the Pioneer will still be able to get all the data for the performance gauges without that wire being connected My Bio: https://www.crutchfield.com/bio/Paul

Q
Will this allow me to use the factory back-up camera in my 2011 Tacoma? Now the camera displays in the rear-view mirror (tiny), and it would be much better if it rendered in the touch screen Kenwood stereo I want to get.

I was able to make the camera work in my touch screen stereo but I had to buy a camera wire, cut off the end, and splice in an RCA plug to the camera input on the back of the head unit, so it would plug into the input onto the head unit. It can be done but it's not a simple plug and play. Hope this helps, sorry I don't remember more I did it 2 years ago. Good luck

you will also need the module to run your camera and other factory features. This is just the wiring harnesses for it. The module is sweet though, it will give you truck data that you dont even get with your factory readouts in the dash like tire pressure for each tire and all of the temperature sensors.
robert  Nov 22, 2018
A
Yes. I kept the Sienna camera in the original display (tiny) and added another camera that displays through the 7" screen. I could have just sent the original camera to the larger display.
ted  Nov 21, 2018

I'm certain it is possible. But when I did this install in my 2012 Tacoma I didn't find the video cable anywhere in the dash harness. So I kept the factory rear view camera in the rear view. I did add a front facing camera though, and programmed one of my steering wheel buttons to activate the camera when pressed and held.

I want to install this in my 2006 Toyota Sienna, but Crutchfield says that this harness will not fit in my vehicle. Is this true? The description says it's made for 2006 Toyota Sienna and up.

I see that the main harness plugs into the aftermarket stereo and has bare wires on the other end. Is there another adapter that accepts the bare wires so that it can plug into the factory radio harness? Is this harness included if so?
