You'll also be able to check performance gauges, view additional performance information, and read and reset engine codes on the new radio's screen. The wiring harness supplies the connections needed to install a navigation-ready receiver (parking and foot brake, reverse gear, and speed sense).

Features

Dodge Durango Integration Dash Kit & Vehicle Harness: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 consists of an integration dash kit and vehicle harness designed specifically for select 2014-2020 Dodge Durangos (all factory radio trims). In combination with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately), the KIT-DUR1 lets you replace the factory radio of your 2014-2020 Dodge Durango with a compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer aftermarket head unit equipped with an iDatalink Serial Port.

  • Vehicle Compatibility: Click here for a list of compatible Dodge Durango vehicles.
  • Aftermarket Receiver Compatibility: Click here for a list of compatible aftermarket radios with an iDatalink Serial Port.

Note: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 requires the purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (sold separately) and the download of a vehicle specific firmware from iDatalink's Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac).

Factory Fit & Finish Dash Kit: The KIT-DUR1's dash kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your Dodge Durango's dash. The dash kit will fit select Double-DIN Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, & Pioneer aftermarket radios with an iDatalink Serial Port.

Retained Features: The follow factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-DUR1 installation package.

  • Factory Amplifier The iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 can retain your vehicle's factory amplifier (if equipped) with speed compensated volume, digital fader & balance, plus DSP & gain adjustment.
  • Secondary Vehicle Display & Climate Control: The KIT-DUR1 will retain the secondary vehicle display (if equipped), as well a climate controls. The secondary display will continue to indicate audio, hands-free, and navigation information. Climate display and control will be available on your new aftermarket receiver's touchscreen.
  • USB/HDMI/Aux Ports: The KIT-DUR1 comes with a media module that consists of two USB Type-A ports and one 3.5mm Aux input (one of the USB ports can be swapped out for a HDMI adapter port). The USB/HDMI/Aux module replaces the factory media module and installs in the dash to provide easy access to your compatible iDatalink receiver's rear-panel USB, Aux, and HDMI inputs (all input types are not applicable to all compatible iDatalink receivers). You will need one or two USB extension cables, an HDMI cable, and one stereo minijack cable or stereo minijack-to-RCA cable to connect from the media module to the rear-panel USB and Aux inputs of your aftermarket receiver (no cables are included with the KIT-DUR1).
  • RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment): The KIT-DUR1 can retain your vehicle's factory RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment), if your iDatalink compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer receiver is equipped with an AV output. The KIT-DUR1's harness features a male 3.5mm AV connector. If your iDatalink receiver features a composite video and stereo RCA audio/video output, you'll need an AV minijack-to-RCA adapter (sold separately).
  • Backup & Front Cameras The iDatalink Maestro KIT-DUR1 will retain your vehicle's factory backup camera, if your iDatalink compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer receiver is equipped with composite video camera input. Parking guidelines and park assist chimes are also retained in the vehicle. In addition, the KIT-DUR1 can retain the vehicle's front camera if your compatible receiver offers two camera inputs.
  • Steering Wheel Controls: Your vehicle's steering wheel controls will be retained with two programmable functions on each button for control of standard and expanded aftermarket radio functions.

Q
Will the rear seat entertainment package work on a 17 with beats if I adapt that 3.5 to a set of av rca?

A
You can maintain your rear entertainment system with an iDatalink radio on a 2017 Durango with Beats when you use that kit. You shouldn't need to use a separate adapter in addition.

Q
Is this required to upgrade to an aftermarket radio if I have the 8.4 screen with Alpine or do I just need the maestro adapter plus an idatalink compatible radio?
cuzin  Jan 23, 2020
1 answer
A
Hi Tevor, thank you for your question. This particular setup comes with all of the gear you will need for your installation, except for the Maestro MRR interface. There are times with some vehicles that this is only option available, and will be part of the installation package you will need to purchase along side of an iDataLink compatible stereo. Please chat with us online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. We will be happy to pull up the info on your vehicle, and ensure all of the gear you will need is on your order.
