RAM Integration Dash Kit & Vehicle Harness: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-RAM1 consists of an integration dash kit and vehicle harness designed specifically for select 2013-2022 RAM trucks. In combination with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately) , the KIT-RAM1 lets you replace the factory radio (with 8.4" screen) of your 2013-2022 RAM truck with a compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer aftermarket head unit equipped with an iDatalink Serial Port.

Note: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-RAM1requires the purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (sold separately) and the download of a vehicle specific firmware from iDatalink's Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac).

Flashing Module via Weblink Desktop: The iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 will need to be loaded with correct firmware before installation. The included USB cable plugs into your computer and allows you to "flash" the Maestro RR or RR2 with the appropriate firmware to prepare it for installation. Simply download Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac) onto your computer to access the appropriate firmware. System requirements include -

• Windows PC (10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP/2000) or Mac OS X (Mojave [10.14], HighSierra [10.13], Sierra [10.12], El-Capitan [10.11])
• Available USB port (version 2.0 or 3.0)
• 4GB RAM or more
• 200MB available space on HDD
• Internet connection

Factory Fit & Finish Dash Kit: The KIT-RAM1's dash kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your RAM truck's dash. The dash kit will fit select Double-DIN Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, & Pioneer aftermarket radios with an iDatalink Serial Port.

Retained Features: The following factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your factory radio with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, Sony, or Pioneer using the Maestro RR or RR2 Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-RAM1 integration kit.

• Factory amplifier wtih fader, gain, DSP, and speed compensated volume
• Steering wheel controls with standard and expanded radio functions, including two functions on each button
• Backup camera with parking guidelines and park assist (external chime sold separately); plus front, side, and 4x4 camera control (aftermarket radio must have second camera input)
• Climate display and control on aftermarket stereo
• Secondary vehicle display with access to vehicle settings
• Rear seat video with control from aftermarket radio
• RAP (Retained Accessory Power) & warning chimes

Extra Features: The following Extra features are added when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood. JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-RAM1 integration kit.

Navigation Outputs: To make installing an aftermarket navigation receiver easier, the KIT-RAM1 provides Parking Brake, Reverse Gear, & VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense) output wires.
