Fusion MS-CLADAP reviews
Quality Faceplate. I was optimistic it would fit the bolt pattern in my boat where the Clarion XMD3 Deck used to be. I had to drill 2 more holes in a wider pattern, making it look very secure with 6 screws showing, with only 2 screws holding it on. It's very secure, however. 4 screws in the pre-drilled holes are only for show.
Pros: Fits the Fusion decks Obviously, that's what it's made for. Fits other decks too, I got this for my Kenwood receiver. The bolt holes come very close to interfering with the trim ring, but I used different screws. Solid - firms up the mount with a nice, stiff, non-brittle faceplate
Cons: Comes pre-drilled. The screws missed the boat, because the gap is larger. Clarion XMD3 had wider bolt pattern behind the plate. Pre drilled is a liability. It should have markings on the back side, for example. It drills EASILY anyway. No problem, new holes can be drilled, but it seemed marketed to fit the Clarion mount.
