Bringing the heat to the street
With power handling up to 1500 watts RMS, this sub will lay down low end they'll hear all the way down Beale Street. It's built to beat the heat, with a cast-aluminum basket that's vented to keep the 3.5" aluminum triple voice coil cool when the music gets hot. A double-stitched folded rubber surround gives the sub additional excursion without giving up cone area, and combines with a reinforced spider to keep the polypropylene cone pumping out the bass.
With an optimal sealed box volume of only 1.5 cubic feet, the MOJO 1212 gives you a space-to-impact ratio that's hard to beat. Features
Terminals: One pair of spring-post input terminals offers easy connection of pin connectors or bare wire up to 10-gauge. They will also accommodate many single banana plugs, but the post is slightly recessed, so some banana plugs will not fit well. The binding posts are spaced too far apart to accept standard dual banana plugs (¾").
Selectable Impedance: On the opposite side of the basket from the input terminals, there are four "shorting" spring terminals. Depending on how the included jumper wires are connected to these shorting terminals, the input terminals present either a 1Ω or 2Ω load. The power handling is the same for either setting; 1,500 watts RMS/3,000 watts peak.
Sealed Enclosures: Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music. Memphis Audio recommends a sealed enclosure of 1.5 ft³.
Vented Enclosures: Vented (or ported) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed so they are suitable for use with smaller amplifiers, giving you more bass output from a given amount of power. Memphis Audio recommends a ported enclosure of 2.5 ft³ with a 5" x 5" x 27" slot port, yielding a tuning frequency of 36 Hz.

Lots of power, had the alpine type X 12 sub previously. Still think it was a good sub. This new one is way more powerful and can hit on Lower bass.
