I need help badly I put. A double din in my 2009 honda civic ex no sound comes out of my factory stereo, USB dont work only thing that works is all the sound coles from the after market sub I bought. There is somthing in missing i didn't mess with the amplifier in the center plesse help I been driving like this for a year

I will be upgrading my factory sound in all four corners with a Kendwood head unit and two sets of components front and back powered by a Kendwood amplifier (also subwoofer in trunk on it's own amp this is not an issue), do you have instructions regarding installing an aftermarket amplifier? I'd like to remove the factory amplifier since it's being replaced my question here is will I still need the amp bypass harness? I'll be using new speaker wire for the connections to new crossovers and speakers and tweeters. If I'm not using the bypass harness will the new stereo harness to connect to the car and the parking brake connection be all that I need aside from my atenna adapter and RCA's?

I'm considering updating my stereo with at DMX905S in my 2009 Civic LX. What I don't see on the installation video are suggestions for what to do with the USB inputs, as well as the microphone. This stereo supports CarPlay and Android Auto, which means it needs USB ports to be accessible for the phone. And the microphone would need to be placed to work well for phone calls. How and where would I run the wires and mount them? Do you have any suggestions or documentation on what to do with these? I haven't done any project like this before, so I'm definitely a novice.

Ej, that's a strange (and frustrating) glitch. You could ask your local Honda dealer if they're aware of a solution. However, if you're ready to replace your radio, give us a call.

My current stock radio in my 06 Civic coupe changes modes by itself. It goes from AUX, to FM1, to AM, without me even pressing anything. What's wrong with my radio and what do I need to do to fix it?

Jim, it's certainly possible in many cars. However, that's not the case with the '08 Civic in this video. Typically, the AUX port gained with a new radio makes up for the lost factory input.

Very informative video. Not only did it give a great step by step on the radio (and transferring factory controls to the dash kit) but since you had to access the shifter console to run a wire it also showed me how to access that area for another project I have. I appreciate the knowledge you guys share.
