Excellent - very easy set up. Highly recommend.
Pros: Easy set up
I needed a bracket to ceiling mount a Cinemate voice center speaker above my TV. This bracket is designed to mount on a back wall but I managed to made a metal piece to attach to it that coul be screwed into the ceiling of my entertainment unit. Worked great.
Pros: Invisible to view, sturdy attachment.
the worst mounting bracket Bose ever made. there was a tremendous amount of frustration to hook and snap-on the speakers. the brackets are not designed intelligently to guide the wires through in order to snap the speaker on. no matter how well you organize the wires through the bracket, it bulges up and makes it hard to snap the speaker on. the bracket's profile is too thin to put any wires through. it would be perfect if the speakers were wireless, and no wires to guide through the bracket. the brackets were designed for speakers without wires. I liked the older model brackets. it has plenty room for the wires and it stands out with much better look on the wall than these ones. I wouldn't recommend these brackets to friends.
Pros: easy to install
Cons: the bracket is too thin to put the wires through, sits too flat on the wall, the sound echoes through the wall and creates undesirable buzzy noise from the wall. it's definitely not worth the price.
Looks great. The first one was a bit difficult to navigate. Others went up much quicker.
Pros: Clean, professional look.
Cons: Directions are a bit lacking. Nothing that can't be figured out.
Overview: The Bose SlideConnect WB-50 is a unique wall mounting bracket for select Bose cube speakers. This high-quality steel bracket mounts flush to the wall and holds your speaker about 1/4" from the wall. The WB-50 includes a unique 2-pin speaker wire connector, and the mounting hardware you'll need to install the bracket. The package includes the bracket to mount one speaker.
Compatibility: The SlideConnect WB-50 is compatible with the following Bose systems:
Mounting: The WB-50 mounts flush to the wall using the 4 screws and wall anchors (supplied). The speaker wire should be attached to the bracket at the two set screws prior to mounting the speaker. The WB-50 works with either in-wall or on-wall speaker wiring. The included 2-pin connector plugs into the speaker, and as the speaker is mounted on the bracket, the pins make contact with two strips on the bracket. The speaker is held in place on the bracket by four hooks that fit into slots in the speaker. The bracket can be installed vertically or horizontally depending upon the speaker you're mounting.
Note: You should use the bracket itself, not the template provided in the manual, to mark the screw holes before drilling.
