Features

Manual Belt-Drive: The Music Hall MMF-1.3 turntable employs a low noise, fully manual belt drive design.

3-Speed Operation: A built-in speed control circuit ensures the accuracy of the MMF-1.3 turntable's three operating speeds: 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM*.

Note: A special cartridge/stylus assembly (sold separately) is recommended for playing 78 RPM records.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Platter: The Music Hall MMF-1.3 turntable utilizes an aircraft-grade aluminum platter and a thick rubber mat to dampen ambient vibration. The belt comes pre-mounted to the platter, making setup easier and quicker.

MDF Plinth w/ Vibration Damping Feet: The MMF-1.3 turntable features a piano black MDF Plinth and vibration damping feet to prevent unwanted vibration.

Aluminum Tonearm + MM Cartridge: The Music Hall MMF-1.3 includes an aluminum tonearm and comes with an uninstalled AT3600L phono (MM) cartridge with diamond stylus. You will have to mount the cartridge/stylus assembly to the tonearm.

Built-in Switchable Preamp: A built-in phono preamplifier allows connection of the turntable to an AV receiver, integrated amplifier, or powered speakers that do not have a dedicated phono input. The built-in phono preamp can be turned off when using an AV receiver or integrated amp with a phono input (MM).

Stereo RCA Output: The Music Hall MMF-1.3 is outfitted with a stereo RCA output and comes with a 5' stereo RCA cable to connect the turntable to your AV receiver, integrated amplifier, or powered speakers.

External Power Supply: The MMF-1.3 includes an external AC power supply.

Hinged Dust Cover: The Music Hall MMF-1.3 comes supplied with a hinged dust cover to prevent dust build-up on the turntable.

Q
would you be able to upgrade to an ortofon cartridge or can you only use certain brands?
amanda  Sep 24, 2021

A
You certainly can upgrade but check the Music Hall website for their customer service number and specific cartridge model info. A variety of top notch Music Hall choices are available as well.
samuel  Sep 25, 2021
A
Yes. I'm pretty certain that you won't even need to get the Ortofon head shell. The cartridge should install easily without it. I upgraded to a Sumiko and had no problem installing it.
mark wayne  Sep 25, 2021
Q
Can you switch off the built in pre amp? I have powered speakers.

Yes, there is switch in the back of the unit that lets you choose between the pre-amp & line out.
rob  Jan 18, 2021

I don't have powered speakers but there is a switch in back to turn the pre-amp on/off.
william c  Jan 13, 2021

Q
Overall dimensions of this unit?
bob  Jun 02, 2020

A
It's 17 and 1/4 wide, about 14 and 1/2 deep and 4 and 1/2 high. When the lid is open you need 15 inches of height clearance and another 2 inches of depth. So the space needs to be 17 and 1/4 wide, 16 inches deep and 15 inches high.
alan  Jun 10, 2020
A
17 1/8 inches wide, 14 1/2 inches deep and 4 1/2 inches tall
samuel  Jun 09, 2020
A
17-1/8" x 14-1/4" deep (including hinges) x 4-1/4" high

Q
Are the feet adjustable to level the turntable?
steve  Dec 12, 2019
5 answers
A
No.
alan  Jun 10, 2020
A
No, they dont screw in or out and therefore provide no adjustment.
jan  Dec 13, 2019
A
Yes. The Music Hall mmf-1.3 turntable has adjustable feet for leveling.
dean  Dec 12, 2019
A
No. The feet are not ajustable.
robert  Dec 12, 2019
A
Instruction manual states "the feet may also be used to stabilize the main body horizontally" whatever that means. I took a close look and they are not adjustable, but they have a very gripping ring which floats in the feet support posts (which are 1.5" in diameter). The table seems very stable on my homemade cabinet and I have no issues in that regard. Beautiful turntable.
