Solid through and through

Kicker's 43CSC6934 6"x9" speakers feature a polypropylene woofer that delivers solid low end with the help of a polyester foam surround that will stay strong for years to come. The polypropylene dome midrange and 1/2" PEI balanced dome tweeter adds crisp instrumental and vocal detail. You'll get good results powering these speakers with a factory radio or an aftermarket car stereo, but they'll knock your socks off when you drive them with an external amplifier. Grilles are included.

Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CSC-series speakers feature polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to moisture and the temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

Balanced-Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1/2" PEI (polyetherimide) balanced-dome tweeter. A balanced dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone, with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome sections.

2" Dome Midrange: The 2" dome midranges provide a strong response in the critical midrange band where most vocals are located.

Hello, Sorry for the late response. I'm sorry but, I'm not understanding your question. It's quite confusing, could you provide a picture? Maybe then we could understand and help you as My husband and I are both confused with this question format.

A
no thats not right one is upside down how did you do that ?
richard  Jan 29, 2019
A
It's not a wrong way. It's basically how you want to install them. Me for an example, I purchased 4 of them so I have two of the small end tweeters facing left and the other two facing right. Yeah I have two upside down. It's ok.
cleveland  Jan 28, 2019

I don't know if there is a correct way but I always put the tweeters toward the outside of the vehicle. My logic is that it will make the high frequency sounds sound fuller since they are farther apart. You can always place them one way, listen to sound, switch them and see which way you prefer. Hope this helps.

Q
If I have a stereo with 22 watts RMS/50 peak output, will these speakers sound decent?
matthew  Jan 17, 2019

A
Yes they will, I had these and a smaller set of speakers in the back door of my F150 and they sound really good and if you want to push them a little more and even better sound a small amp will do the job

Q
2010 Charger here. Same issue as the other guy with a Charger. Maybe there isnt enough r&d on Chargers? Factory speakers sound 10x better (15w each) vs Kickers (45w front 50w rear). I ripped open all the packaging so I wont bother returning. The other issue I have is with the adapter and install hardware....none of it lines up, no matter the positioning and the inner edges of the speaker hole are rolled so yeah, clips are void. Lesson learned the hard way. Saving up and hitting up a local shop in the spring.

Q
I purchased two pair (4 total) of these to replace the two front door and two rear deck speakers in my 2013 Dodge Charger with the factory Beats speakers. I was totally shocked at the performance. The factory speakers sound much better. I kept the factory amp... didn't change anything but the speakers. Am I missing something? I'm guessing at 450watts these speakers would be better. I was wrong... '

A few quick things here. 1. New speakers usually have a little bit of break in time - so after a few weeks of playing music they will likely start to sound better. 2. I'm not sure what the factory power is in your vehicle, but it could very well be that these speakers are underpowered by the factory amp - and that may be why they aren't sounding the way you want. 3. If you aren't happy with the sound absolutely give our Tech team a call. The can help troubleshoot and/or set up an exchange if needed

It all depends on how you plan on wiring these speakers. I have a CEA Compliant Rockford Fosgate RF600.4D ( 4 Channel 646 RMS watt amp ) running a set of 43CSC6934 and a set of 43CSC654 speakers ( 1 speaker wired into each separate channel at a 4 Ohm load, getting about 125 RMS watts to each 6x9 on the first channel and I have the gain for the second channel turned down so the 6 1/2's are getting about 100 RMS watts to each speaker. If you only plan on wiring 1 set of these to an amp, you need a Class D or AB, CEA Compliant 2 Channel amp that is Rated at 300 x 1 RMS watts, If you are wiring 4 speakers you should look for a CEA Compliant Class D 600 x 1 RMS watt amp ( Class D amps are a little more expensive, but more efficient ). Hope I could help you out with this information!

Q
I see this is a 4 ohm speaker, can I run this in my stock audio system which runs 276 watt amp on 2 ohm speakers? I don't want to alter anything about my stock system, other than adding better quality speakers. I have a 2014 Dodge Charger with stock Alpine system.

You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

I hooked this up to my stock stereo, they sound good, but could use an amp to make the sound even better I think, but I bought these with adding an amp later in mind.
kristina  Apr 24, 2017

No you do not need an amp, an amp just would help you push it at its highest power. They sound great without an amp.
