What is Hot Import Nights?
A Hot Import Nights event gives Tuners from across the country the chance to show off their modified cars and trucks, and check out live stage shows with DJs and models.

Show highlights
The Seattle show had all the typical Hot Import Nights ingredients simmering to sublime effect — tricked out import cars (plenty of Acura, Nissan, and Honda entries), a Pepsi Blue sponsored stage show, gorgeous models, and all the big-name show car vendors. We drew a healthy crowd under the Crutchfield tent, which contained numerous demos, free t-shirts, catalogs, and stickers, and our lovely assistant Michelle.

HIN has changed the layout of their shows this year. Dubbed the "HIN City," the show feels more compartmentalized and logically oriented than in previous years. To see more about Hot Import Nights, and to find highlights and more pictures from this and other events, click here.

Under the Crutchfield tent
Ken Knudson from N/S Marketing and Kicker joined us under the Crutchfield tent with his 1990 Prelude SIR. The car is stocked full of Kicker components, including 300W x 1 KX600.1 and 75W x 4 KX600.4 amps, an RS6c 6-1/2" component speaker system, and 2 CompVR 12" subs. An Alpine CDA-9874 lights up the dash with MP3 and CD playback.

Upcoming
The next Hot Import Nights is scheduled for the Cobo Center, in the Motor City, Detroit, MI for May 5. Check out our Event Calendar to see when a show will be in your area — you'll also be able to find out which shows we'll be attending. Be sure to come visit us at the Hot Import Nights in the Houston Astrodome/Reliant Park, in Houston, Texas on June 7, 2003.

Lasers, smoke, music, and the Crutchfield tent — another Hot Import Nights heats up.

Pepsi Blue sponsored the stage show, which drew lots of attention.

Rockford Fosgate's latest demo vehicle, a Nissan 350Z, was on the floor.

This Chevy Suburban sported five custom-mounted LCD screens and some serious subsonic firepower.

Ken Knudson's 1990 Prelude SiR packs two Kicker CompVR 12" subs and over 600 watts of amp power in the trunk.
