Great door speakers for Lexus UX 250h

I put these in a 2021 Lexus UX 250h in the front and rear doors. I paired them with JL Audio C2-350x in the dash and a Rockford Fosgate P300-10 sub in the cargo area. I am very happy with the balance I get from this combo. These speakers are driven by the factory head unit (base six speaker system) and sound great. I am definitely happy with the upgrade and recommend these speakers. I was a little concerned that mid component speakers wouldn't give me enough high frequencies, but the JL Audio dash speakers carry the highs/voices perfectly and in-balance with these door speakers.

Great sounding speakers and the quality is top-notch. I purchased these speakers to replace my rear door speakers in my 2015 e350 Mercedes. My original speakers are Harmon Kardon and one was blown. The Hertz 165 was a perfect match with the wire adapter that was included in my order. I was pleased with the sound quality and bass.

Warm and detailed so

Warm and wonderful midwoofers! They blend perfectly with my Seas tweeters in an active setup. So many details are spread across my soundstage after time alignment was so done. Highly recommended!

Great sounding midrange, even with factory stereo/amp

As a replacement to my 2022 RAV4 door woofers, these are great. They are being powered from the factory head unit/amp and still pack a punch. Mid-range frequencies are punchy, and there is even a decent amount of low-bass if you crank up the volume. Highly recommended mid-range speakers.

They sound pretty nice in the mid range, less distortion at high volume than the 6x8s that they replaced. I had to purchase a 6.75 mounting bracket.

2018 Toyota Tacoma

These sound good, not great, in my Tacoma. I replaced some ~$50 Rockford Fosgates with these and while they do sound better it isn't life changing. I am powering these in my rear doors with a Kenwood X802-5. Still will probably need to add a subwoofer as these don't add much bass, but still happy with the purchase. Install is pretty easy as well.

Hertz C 165

I haven't had it installed in my truck yet but I know that the JL audio is a premium speaker. I've listen to in my friends vehicle and it is amazing. I'm actually get an exact same set up that my friend has. I love it in his vehicle I know it'll be awesome and mine no need to stray. I've open the box looked at the product inspected the product and from just the physical aspect of the product you can tell that it is very well-made

Nice sounding midbass for the $

Nice sounding 6.5's for the money. Hertz and crutchfield photos of this speaker don't show just how beefy this little woofer is, it's a big woofer, it sounds the part too, clean/smooth highs up to 5-7k, good mid bass, for 150-200 bucks a pair it's a good buy. I have these as rear fill and up front lower doors have the Hertz C 165 "L" version that has a little bit more mid bass with its 5 plus Xmax . I have owned Kicker KS and Alpine S Series 6.5 woofers and these are substantially better all around. I'm running 50watts rms to these from Kicker Key 200.4

Cant beliebe these are 6 1/2 door subwoofers

I have a Toyota Tacoma 2019. I just wanted a little bass in the cab without having to install huge subwoofers. These fit perfect in the rear doors and compliment the 6x9 JLs in the front. Now I have enough bass to listen to all genres of music without any rattling. Clear bass.

Door Speaker Replacement

Put these in my younger sister's Acura TL with ease as her door speakers were needing to be replaced. Rodell from Crutchfield was easy to talk to and knew exactly what I was dealing with, he completed my order which included free brackets and wire harnesses specifically designed for the TL. They went in nice, clean and solid and sound very good, the system sounds complete, full, with alot of depth, they play mid bass and mid range very well but also details like small whispers or faint instruments in the background, thank you crutchfield and thank you Hertz for providing mid range speakers only when that's all you need!!

First time with this higher end brand I did sound deaden the door but wow hertz doesn't let you down...finally mid bass we should get from quality speakers and that's off the alpine ilx-w650 18wrms deck not alot of power but huge improvement over stock you would be satisfied with or without an amplifier with these

Great

Installed these using Kicker's Key 200.4 along with C26 OE tweeters and running them bi-amped. Mids are super clear and you can really feel each strum of a guitar, they handle enough power to not get washed out by the subwoofer. Without the key's Auto-EQ they do sound a little flat on the bass response, but the amp made them sound like a million dollars IMHO. It would be worth your time to get a cheap RTA to EQ your system. I bought them so I didn't have to throw away the crossover I wasn't going to use with a regular component set.

Sound Great ! Replaced 5.25 2-way, these really balanced out the system. Put in 2017 Sprinter depth fit, terminals needed some room.
