Works well after modifications

Fit and color match are great, looks just like the factory bezel. As others have mentioned, the mounting brackets being all plastic allow for flex. After initial install my floating screen Halo 9 had the "shakes". I opened things back up and inserted some pieces of very firm foam along the sides and bottom of the install which resolved the issue. Like others, I would gladly pay more for rigid metal mounting brackets. Also, for my single DIN install (Alpine Halo 9 ILX-F09), I had to file down 2 "raised" spots on pocket for it to stack cleanly with the HU above.
Pros: Matches factory trim
Cons: Plastic brackets allow flex and shaking

Plastic support bend, look cheap and gard to adjust, also the additional besel it's hard to install, it better looking for another brand. I'll change it in the future.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Looks cheap and hard to install

Looks good, just the brackets that hold the radio have too much flex. Which allows the radio to move when you press on it.

Different than some aftermarket install kits, but Awesome and incredibly easy to install. Receiver mounted directly to mount kit with 2 screws and the faceplate slides into place perfect. looks like a factory install. '09 6i(Bose)

The perfect fit!!

This product made the new double din radio I installed look factory. I would recommend this to anyone. The color matched the interior trim perfectly. Only place on the internet to get accessories for your car!!!!
Pros: This trim plate for the double din aftermarket touchscreen radio made it look OEM. Will order from Crutchfield when I install one on my truck.
Cons: I have no cons. Cost was perfect. Even though it was all plastic, it wasn't flimsy and seems pretty tough.

Works as intended, holds an aftermarket unit.
Crutchfield customer from Dothan, AL on 6/17/2019

VERY cheap. A Dash kit should do a finite number of things and this one didnt really deliver. The kit itself works as intended, allowed me to install an aftermarket headunit into my car. Kenwood only supplies 6 panhead screws/bolts for attaching the unit to the side panels of the kit when it really needs 8. After installing the kit and unit I noticed a decent gap around the edge of the opening. None of the trim pieces that came with the kit or unit can be installed to help hide this. I drive about 20 miles to and from work each day and on multiple days I have noticed that when I get to normal driving speeds (60-65 MPH) the unit starts to wobble and shake inside the dash kit. It does come as separate pieces of side mounts and cover plate which makes installation easier than an all-in-one solution, but that only really comes into play if you have a full sized double din unit and you have a lot of the connections in the back populated. The front face cover was iffy to get installed, it was hard to line up and I had to exert a lot of force to get it to pop in. Ive been building and installing car stereos for over 20 years now and I feel it as somewhat of an extension of my creative side, so to me, little things can make or break an installation. The aesthetics and wobble to me are about as bad as a wire rattling when the bass hits. I'll keep using this kit but I will probably go back to Scosche since thats pretty much all I've ever used except in custom mad
Pros: - quick and easy. - Holds unit as intended - Allows for change in depth of installation - No frills, nothing to get confused about, just bolt to the side of your unit and put in place - Fits seamlessly within the car, color and tone is almost spot on with the factory unit.
Cons: - Flimsy, felt like I was going to break some of the tabs when installing - Front face plate feels like it wasnt meant for this car and requires a lot of force to get in place - Full sized double din unit wobbles when installed - Gap around unit cant be fixed by any trim that comes with the unit or kit.

American International MAZK860 Dash Kit
Mark from Kingston, TN on 7/29/2018

Has factory look. Down graded rating due to plastic mounting bracket results in head unit bouncing when car travels over bumps. The flimsy thin square trim piece had to be superglued in place.
Pros: Fit and finish
Cons: Plastic mounting bracket lacks rigidity. Flimsy trim bezel

Good fit and finish, cheap parts behind the scenes
Chuck from Irvine, CA on 8/13/2017

Product looks good installed with snug fit. The mounts are made of plastic and are not sturdy. Modifications required to install double DIN radio and to allow radio to sit further back in the dash for proper fit. The opening that mates with the radio has small studs and flimsy bezel, without instructions of use. Had to modify to get good fit. I expected more from a product that was designed specifically to fit this vehicle (instead of universal adaptor).
Pros: Looks stock and matched interior
Cons: Requires you to pry out clips from stock radio to mount bracket, which risks breakage and seems exceedingly cheap ( how much does 6 plastic connectors cost?) The plastic side panels are cheaply made and bend under light screw pressure both at the radio and dash mount locations. For double DIN install, Side mounts require modification to fit (cut off small mount for single DIN install pocket) The opening that mates with radio has small studs and includes flimsy bezel with no instructio

Perfect Match
Crutchfield customer from Newburyport, MA on 6/16/2017
2011 Mazda 6
I liked it enough to buy a second as my first was scratched up a bit (mostly while it was uninstalled). The second kit's bracket pieces did have a additional tab on each side that would hit the side of most double-DIN units. I don't know what that was about, but I didn't think much of it and just used the side brackets from my first kit. I guess they could've been cut off easy enough. The paint and style is a perfect match.
Pros: Fit and style
Cons: Bracket may have to be modified

Plastic mounts flimsy, but looks great installed.
Brae from Brooklyn, NY on 10/6/2016

This Dash kit gets the job done and looks great installed. The two black side brackets are a little flimsy (they bend slightly under the weight of a 2-din unit) but overall I'm very pleased with this kit. I'm glad I went with this American International kit over the all silver Scosche kit. I really like the black inner area on this unit, which in my opinion goes better with the aesthetics/color of the car dash.
Pros: Looks great. Fits. Cheap when buying with headunit.
Cons: Somewhat flimsy arms for mounting.
