Crutchfield speakers wires

Bought these for my Adcom amp and Klipsch speakers. They worked well and sounded fine for the price. Only issue is one banana plug came off somehow and I couldn't get it back on, so I had to just plug that bare wire into one of the speakers. Would expect a bit better quality from Crutchfield.

Nice if compatible with your equipment

Good quality, but expensive compared to others brands offered online.I like to support US companies but that means paying more. I wish the website emphasized that your receiver needs to be compatible with banana plugs-which were new to me. My new Sony receiver STR DH190 has only spring loaded terminals, so I had to remove the plugs and use bare wire- will try pin plugs. It's been a learning experience for this 66 yr. old boomer lady.

Good starter cable

Get what you pay for. :(

I'm using these purchased in July 2022. Over time the connector back shell works loose and I had to add thread locker to keep them from loosening. The banana terminals are thin and bend and break with the slightest strain. I had to remove and replace them with new connector terminals. I actually noticed that the wire was not completely inserted and bare wire was exposed on the back. If you want to virtually rebuild the terminals these are for you. The wires are adequate and look pretty and joined together in a few places with clear sleeves. Not the best option in my opinion.

Quality wires at a good price

Small issue can be larger trouble

These may be good cables--sonically speaking--but the ends loosened up in transit and fell off as I was trying to install them speaker-side. Trying to trace the polarity was a pain!

Best option for me!

They seem to be working great. My one complaint would be that the sleeves on the banana plugs are loose which makes it a bit difficult getting them plugged in in the first place. Now that they are set up, things sound great.

Awesome cables at a reasonable price.

Dude, it's speaker wire. How can you mess that up? Best Buy tried to sell me a set for $400. These appear to be well made with a heavier 14 Guage cable and anodized aluminum outer covered banana plugs. Also the banana plugs are big enough to connect (2) 14 Guage wires into one plug. Very nice cables for a reasonable price.

Not much to really say, I own quite a few of these speaker wires now at different lengths depending on my needs and they do what they should. But have a much better appeal than just old fashion wires, if your wires are visible. They give a very clean look..most speaker wires are over rated and overpriced in my opinion. People say they can hear the difference between $20 and $300 wire I claim BS. I've tried higher priced in the past and what you MIGHT notice is not worth the expense. Because unless you have the best hearing on the planet, or an electronic device measuring the performance. These will suit anyone's needs for any kind of listening. Keyword, LISTENING..

Going from Monster Xl to these cables was like night and day. I played one of my quality CD's on my Marantz CD6007 and I heard things on this recording I never knew were there. I could not believe how well this improved the balance of my left and right channels. This is not the placebo effect but real difference. My system is small with a Marantz 1510 AV and Polk ES10 speakers with Polk PSW 111 sub. I am trying to get the absolute most fidelity with what I have, and these cables were the last thing I thought would make a difference. I was wrong, they made a huge difference.

I usually make my own cable. However, after having trouble finding suitable bulk cable and after being sold fraudulent cable from another retailer, it was a no-brainer to go to Crutchfield. I can always trust Crutchfield for quality equipment.

Well Made Cables

These are great value for pre-cut cables with solid connectors already included. They feel reliable and look high quality while not drawing too much attention to themselves. Definitely will keep buying these so as to not deal with the hassle of cutting and attaching the banana plugs.

They work just fine. Flexible and plugs connect well. Unfortunately while moving things around one of the plugs got bent and broke. It's working but I will need to replace it since it is no longer is a solid connection. My fault.

Great banana plugs and wires

These banana plugs speaker wires are the best I have seen during my search. I have seen the banana plugs without the wires and the wire without the plugs. When these speaker wires with both banana plugs and wires connected I could not believe it. I jumped on it and bought 5 sets. They work wonderfully. I love them. Great quality and worth the money. I will be purchasing more.

Banana Plug ends are a little sloppy. I had to tighten the sleeves before plugging into equipment. Also, the metal portion of the plug is exposed more on some of the plugs, inconsistent build quality.

Better than $300 Audioquest Cables

These little guys are bonkers. I couldn't believe it when I thought I was "upgrading" to about $300 for two Audioquest 8AWG Ultimate banana cables, and they sounded like I had a t-shirt laying over the speakers. I did many A and B back and fourth testing to make sure I was actually hearing what I thought I was hearing, and sure enough, these little cables blew them away. It was like popping your ears open after being in high altitude or something. Like opening a window to the sound. Clarity and high frequency detail increased a lot but never to the point of being annoying, just CLEAR. The mids and the bass were still there, but this time with greater clarity there as well. The same happened when I compared them with some decent Blue Jeans cables. They just didn't have the DETAIL. I'm shocked. Don't hesitate to get some for yourself. I don't think I'll ever get anything else. Now they just need to keep them in STOCK! I need more for my second system, Crutchfield!

I got the 15 ft. lengths with banana plugs. This inexpensive wire sounds quite good for the money. It sounded great with all kinds of music. Solid imaging and detail. This wire sounds a lot better than it should. If you're looking for a great deal in speaker wire, I highly recommentd the Cruthfiels Speaker Wire.

Speaker wire is good, just had to order a larger size then I needed to cut in half for use. Note: You should sell bulk speaker wire by the foot. Spools are just too large. Both single and 4 strand in wall cable. Just label it as no return.

Nice cables, sound good, but sleeves can slide off the banana end

These are high quality speaker wires and sound very good. The only thing I don't like about them is that the red and black connection sleeves don't stay tight, and they come unscrewed easily and slide down or possibly off the banana connector. One time this happened to both connectors and I had to trace back the wire from one end to the other to ensure I was putting the sleeve back on the correct polarity. Other than that, very nice speaker cables.
