Simple Choice

Easiest wire I have ever worked with! During our remodel and construction of our "man & mom" cave, I ordered Crutchfield wire for the walls and ceiling of our new high end 7.2 surround sound theater. I sure wish I had always used Crutchfield wire because its incredible flexibility combined with high quality wire made the job much easier. I just ordered another roll to use on everything we own that still requires hardwire. Sound results, of quality wire, over a long distance is noticeable, even to my 62 year old ears!!

High quality speaker wire

Building a new home in the country and purchased this wire prior to the drywall going up. I was a little surprised how much a 500 foot roll of this 16 gauge wire weighed but it was probably a good indicator of quality. Flat design made it easy to pull but I recommend stretching the wire out in the length you need and uncurl it or it will try to maintain the curl of the spool. Once it is straightened out it's a breeze to pull and handle. I'm wiring 6 ceiling speakers and 2 outdoor speakers with individual Niles volume controls out of a Niles Hub. This product beats the locally available wire hands down. 34' room and 500 feet wasn't quite enough, just placed another order for 100 more. The only dissapointment was that isn't American made, but what is anymore?

Good wire for the price. The outer casing was smooth and easy to pull down the wall without getting stuck on anything. Sound quality seems very good. These wires are running between a Denon receiver and some Martin Logan in ceiling speakers.
