Acoustimass 300: Designed exclusively to wirelessly pair with the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar, or add a second wireless subwoofer to a Bose Lifestyle 600 and 650 home theater systems (all sold separately), the Acoustimass 300 wireless powered subwoofer provides dynamic bass response for your movie and music soundtracks. To wirelessly pair the surround speakers to a SoundTouch 300 soundbar, you will need to place the soundbar into pairing mode using its remote control. Once paired, the bass module emits a tone.
Note: An available firmware update lets you pair up to two Bose Acoustimass 300 wireless powered subwoofers with your compatible Bose system (the Bose Lifestyle 600 and 650 already have one Bose Acoustimass wireless powered sub included).
Dynamic Bass Performance: This newly designed Acoustimass bass module delivers a dynamic range of bass from a powerful 10" driver and generously sized port with QuietPort technology that virtually eliminates distortion.
Mounting & Placement Options: The Acoustimass 300 wireless powered sub is intended for use in the same room as the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and has a range of approximately 30'. For best sound quality, the Acoustimass 300 should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cord. The powered sub should not be placed on a shelf or table.
Note: To avoid wireless interference, keep other wireless equipment 1-3' away from the system. Place the system outside of and away from metal cabinets, other audio/video components and direct heat sources.
ADAPTiQ Audio Calibration: After connecting the Acoustimass 300 to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar, run ADAPTiQ audio calibration for the best acoustic performance. ADAPTiQ customizes the sound of the system to the acoustics of your listening area by taking five audio measurements. To run an audio calibration, you need 10 minutes when the room is quiet.
Note: During ADAPTiQ, a microphone on the top of the ADAPTiQ headset (provided with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar) measures the sound characteristics of your room to determine optimal sound quality.
Bass Setting: You can adjust the Acoustimass 300's bass level using the SoundTouch app on your compatible Apple iOS/Android device or the remote control included with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar.
Minijack Input: If your prefer a wired connection, the Acoustimass 300 bass module and the SoundTouch 300 soundbar can be hardwired together using a standard minijack audio cable (sold separately).
Mono-RCA Input (future firmware update required): There is a mono-RCA input that allows the Acoustimass 300 bass module to be connected to any AV receiver's LFE output. This input will require a future firmware update which is not yet available (no ETA).
AC Power: The Acoustimass 300 wireless powered sub will require AC power. You will need to connect its detachable 5' AC power cord to an AC outlet.

Great subwoofer. Very impressed with entire Bose SoundTouch system. Love the wifi music cast. Plays pandora, Spotify, amazon music, and iHeartRadio. It's also Very Loud when turned up about halfway and able to feel low rumbles of bass thru the room.
