Denon for the Sub!

Just recieved and setup my Denon Subwoofer with my 2 Denon 150's in the garage. The subwoofer wanted to update so once that was done, I set it up with very little difficulty. It was more me not doing what I should have done but I still got it connected and joined with the 2 150's. Everything is playing great. Even unplugged it, to reposition it not knowing if it would reconnect automatically but after about 6 seconds it started playing again. Very nice subwoofer.
Pros: -Linked together with my 150's with ease. -Heos app gives additional settings for the addition of a Subwoofer.
Cons: Expensive so I bought open box which was like new!

The addition of the subwoofer was a brilliant balance to my HEOS system and Focal ceiling speakers. It was the missing component. I highly recommend the Denon Home Subwoofer to all HEOS customers. I had the Home 550 soundbar with surround speakers and the system sounded good. Adding the subwoofer changed everything. Worth every penny.

Good Little Sub

Nice little sub that sounds good. A bit expensive for what you get but integrates well with other Denon speakers. Would be nice if Denon provided a frequency response value. My guess is this sub may go down to 35hz. Setup took many tries to download bios upgrades and then again many attempts to connect to Heos until for no apparent reason it configured and started playing. All good since final connection.

Not worth the $

Speaker housing is way too big. Bluetooth connection is weak. Speaker is almost unbearable. Sent mine back.

Easy add on for the bedroom

Wanted a sub in the bedroom and didn't want to have one clutter the room. This was my easiest alternative to an in wall sub for my space. It is a downward facing sub so I placed a piece of floor tile under it so the carpet didn't dampen the sound too much. The sound is good and was easy to add to my HEOS multi zone set up. Cost is a bit high for an 8" wireless but ease of use drove me to this unit. In my main zone I run a 12" SVS 1000 Pro which was the same price as this speaker but is a few levels up in my opinion.

A must add on to Denon wireless speakers. Adds great bass and depth to all music. Easy set up in the app

The Denon 550 soundbar is very good but when you add the Denon Home Subwoofer you now enter a NEW sound universe, it is spectacular, amazing sound and great appreciation for all music and movie buffs

Apparently, he ecosystem. The subvert is a must. Easily able to add and link to a pair of speakers of any sort, including a HEOS link. Really nice impactful low and Bass. Good subwoofer for what it is.

I've been slowly transitioning from an ancient home stereo to a more modern set-up. I just added this Denon subwoofer to a pair of Denon home 350 wireless speakers. The set-up was easy. The HEOS system recognizes what you are pairing the subwoofer with and recommends a balanced setting for it. I listen to a very wide variety of music; opera/classical, electric and trance, some rock, jazz, and sound tracks. The subwoofer provides a solid low end punch when needed but does not dominate the sound. It can be punchy and harsh when needed. Or warm and noble. When playing opera, it does not at all interfere with the singers' performances; even the baritones and basses. But, man, if you play the theme from 2001; A Space Odyssey, this thing shines. The only trouble I have had is with Airplay. After grouping the subwoofer and two 350's into a group, the airplay connection has been a little unstable. But it does work. Overall, a very solid choice.

Very nice sub that completes your Denon Home speaker system Adding this sub made my Home 350 and 2 150's sound a lot deeper Like night and day difference very impressed of the sound of all the speakers put together
