To be honest I was not expecting much for fifty dollars. That being said I am very impressed with how well they sound. They look good and are easy to install. If your on a budget give these a try!

Exellent replacment speakers

I had to replace the speakers in my 1997 Four WINNS HORIZON for the second time. The first time I replace the original ones with the the OEM speakers maxxima by panor Model CSS-6522BX. They say "marine" but after about eight years the foam started to fall apart and had no base. I thought I need to replace the head unit but I didn't want to re-wire the stereo a Dual XDM 6820. I thought start with new speakers. I contacted Crutchfields and did on online chat with Hogan. With all the info he suggested these MB Quart NF1-116. HUGE difference! Very clear and a lot more base compared to the old speakers. They fit in the same holes, I just had to drill new crew holes. Look good too. I thought I needed more expensive speakers but these were priced just right. I don't listen to the music real loud, just nice background music when out putting around.

MB Quart NF1-116 were just what the customer service rep from Crutchfield said they would be. Great speakers for the price and my boat sounds awesome. Can't wait to hook up the amp to really see how my whole system performs. Thanks again Crutchfield!!

Bought two of these to replace older (no longer sold) Clarions. They sound very good on the boat in open air. Note the mounting for these includes the grate/surround as all-one-piece. My previous speakers were mounted with a snap on grate/surround. This caused it to be a tight fit where there was a hole cute in the seatback that just barely fit the full circumference. I was able to squeeze it in but it may be worth noting it you are replacing a speaker with a very specific outer size.

Great Speakers!!

I'm very happy with the speakers. I replaced old Sony's in my pontoon boat and I will say, these are way better. Better sound and better volume. Easy install with the included as screws.

Great marine speakers

I decided to add exterior speakers to my travel trailer since I just changed out the head unit. So I bought speaker pods for this 6 1/2" size speaker so I didn't have to bore huge holes in the trailer sidewall. Very, very happy with these speakers. They sound great and even put out reasonable bass. I didn't see any imperfections at all in these. Time will tell how long they last in the elements.

Good value ..

Wasn't looking for the most amazing marine speakers. I needed some thing with good clarity and a good balanced sound for the interior cockpit of my boat. This did the trick. I have 25 watchs RMS running to them and it seems to do really well. Very happy At this price point.

Great price and great sounding speakers. For the price and sound quality you cant go wrong with this speaker. Being exposed to harsh conditions I've had no issues with this speaker. Super fast shipping. Highly recommended product.

Sounds great, but cone life lasted around 7 months when crack in surround and cone appeared.
