The research I did says these are great speakers for the boat. Considering it's February and 4 degrees where I am at. The best I can say is these are great on paper, packaged well and Crutchfield will always be my go to for A/V needs

Replaced original (Old 2000 Kenwood) cockpit 6x9 with these MB Quart NP1-169. Huge improvement! Well beyond my expectations.
Pros: Sound, fit, finish, grill color selection out of the box

Well worth the price I paid. Powered up two sets of these using a Kenwood 800 Watt amp. These can just blast with clean clear rock and roll! Highly recommended. Also, ordering from Crutchfield I got a great price had now worries about the deliver of the speakers. Thanks for the nice price and fast shipping.
