Excellent Choice if you want both Bluetooth and USB.
Alan from Austin, TX on 6/29/2025
This is my first professional grade turntable, and I'm very pleased with its operation. I'm quite satisfied using a manual turntable. I remember my college days when most people had a "record changer" as their main sound equipment. Stacking several records like this was very hard on them! I have a large collection of LPs which have not been played for 20+ years, also a handful of 45s and 78s. I chose the 120XBT-USB model to have both Bluetooth and USB transfer capabilities. I have yet to test the VM670SP stylus for my 78s, but the enclosed instructions appear to be quite thorough. My only criticism is probably due to my incomplete knowledge of Bluetooth when I bought this turntable: My plan had been to pair the turntable to my Mac and play through the Mac's speakers. After over a week of trials, failures, and frustration, I was finally told by way of a service phone call that this type of pairing cannot be done: Computers and handheld devices are "Bluetooth Transmit" devices, and cannot be paired with a turntable; only receiving devices, such as headphones and speakers, can be paired. Since becoming aware of this, I have listened to records while paired to either my headphones or speaker.
Pros: High quality product. All three speeds available. Both Bluetooth and USB.
Cons: General Bluetooth possible pairing configurations should be more prominently shown: I.e., only to headphones and speakers.

Very nice, directions were ok, but I went online for some videos and that really helped. I have them bluetooth connected to some Klipsch R51 speakers and I'm very pleased.
Pros: Packaging was exceptional and the setup was simple(once I watched videos). Sound is very very good, just getting back into vinyl. Been about 40 years. The benefits, fit, feel, adjustments are all well made and appreciated. Well worth the money.
Cons: Needed online videos to make sure I was setting up correctly, nothing else a con.

Great Bluetooth Turntable!
Brian from Sharps Chapel, TN on 4/2/2025
I didn't have a huge budget. I did my research and picked this one because it had bluetooth and good reviews. It was easy to setup. I didn't have to level it because it was perfectly level where I placed it. The bluetooth took a couple of tries because it was not as close as was suggested but, as soon as I adjusted the bluetooth antenna it connected and has been working fine. The sound is great! I had added a bluetooth device (Audioengine B1) to my older Bose Home Theater (Lifestyle 20) that was recommended by Crutchfield and I have to say it's working just as I had hoped.
Pros: Bluetooth
Cons: Having to buy a 78 speed stylus seperately.

A nice turntable at a good price
Neil from Athens, GA on 1/3/2025
The cueing light is a big help for us since the turntable is in a pretty dark area of the house. Nice that it has a USB output as well as Bluetooth, and that the line out is selectable for line or phono level. It feels solid and is a nice weight. We're just had it one day but it sounds great.

Nice But Limited
Mike from Gladwin, MI on 11/19/2024
Turntable is well made and functions well. The installed cartridge is not as bright and vibrant as others in my collection. The problem for me with this product is that you cannot use Bluetooth when choosing to use phono output to a pre amp or amplifier. You are forced to use Line Output if you want to use the Bluetooth feature. The instructions are very lacking in this respect.
Pros: Cost Direct Drive for 78 RPM Records
Cons: Bluetooth Output is limited.

I just wish I had bought this turntable sooner.
William from New York, NY on 10/18/2024
Perfect for me. I was about to discard an LP because of what I thought was surface noise, but thought maybe it was time to replace my stylus. My turntable was so old the manufacturer had discontinued the stylus, so I decided to buy a new turntable, and chose this one based on reviews and my satisfaction with Audio-Technica in the past. Lo and behold, my LP (Ernest Ansermet's 1957 recording of Stravinsky's Petrushka, London CS 6009) not only doesn't have surface noise, but actually sounds fantastic! I just wish I had bought this turntable sooner, before discarding my copy of Pierre Monteux's 1958 Rite of Spring.) (Also, kudos to the Crutchfield associate who chatted with me. She gave me the information I needed, with no sales pressure. I highly recommend chatting before buying.)
Pros: Easy assembly and setup. Efficient, simple operation. Great sound.
Cons: None that I can think of (seriously). (Some people may prefer automatic, but I much prefer manual.)

Juan from Grand Island, NE on 10/4/2024
Four and a half stars. Very pleased with the sound quality, the design, looks, and structure of this turntable, it replaces my Sony PS-LX300USB and goes very well with my Yamaha RX-A6A receiver, Paradigm Monitor SE8000F Speakers, Killpsch 12" subwoofer. I thought that being a manual turntable would take a while to get used to, but you have to put the albums on and off the turntable anyway. Haven't tried the blue tooth yet, but that's not a major concern. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because it took a few tries to set the tonearm balance and tracking force, so far so good. Also, I'm still in my 60 days. One more thing, all the above-mentioned electronics except for the Sony, were purchased from Crutchfield, haven't had any issues. I would recommend this turntable.
Pros: Looks, design, sturdy, audio.
Cons: Little tricky to set the tone arm balance and tracking force.

I've had this table for a little more than a month, and I really love it. Setup is very easy. I upgraded the cart to an Ortofon red right away, and I was surprised how sensitive it is. I do remove the cover when playing, because it turns into an antenna for the bass to feedback. Overall a very good solid turn table.
Pros: Great sound, Easy to use, Looks great, Onboard preamp,
Cons: Cover has to be remove to prevent bass feedback at high volume. ( I listen to LOUD music) Fully manual

Does the trick
Kris from Easton, PA on 2/5/2024
This is the first turntable I've owned/used in over twenty years! ( Vinyl collection sold years ago; no room to store it this house; who knew it was going to make a comeback.) Bought it 'cause one of our favorite artists put out a vinyl only release! Set up was very easy. Sound quality excellent, at least as far as my older ears can tell. Easy to use. Really appreciated Crutchfield's tech support: Late on a Sat. afternoon they were there to walk me through the leveling process as the feet had been tightened by some gorilla at the factory and I was afraid of breaking something! The "felt" platter mat generated static electricity & came off attached to the LP. I replaced it with an after market one of silicone rubber. Now, all I have to do is figure out the cable routing & hole drilling needed in the built-ins so the connections don't go thru the front doors.
Pros: Ordering process extremely easy & tech support help.
Cons: Fiber platter mat "generates" static electricity. Not fully automatic (not such a big deal) and controls under the dust cover (only would be important if it was fully automatic.).

Turntable
Wesley from Linthicum, MD on 1/20/2024
I haven't had a good turntable in probably 30 years. For the longest time my LPs were in boxes and I had totally gotten away from spinning vinyl. Anyway I cobbled together a system from various places and bought a turntable from a gentleman I did some work for. The sound quality wasn't great but it enabled me to play my albums. Recently it started dragging at different points so I naturally turned to Crutchfield to see what they had to offer. It was a wonderful surprise to hear the difference in sound quality from a so/so piece of equipment compared to what I have now.

This is a great little turntable. I bought it because it has bluetooth output to a wireless speaker. While I eventually want to hook it up to a receiver, I don't have one yet. So far it works and sounds great. The only drawback is that it's manual, so you have to pick up the needle at the end of the record.

Great turntable with a lot of features!
Thomas from Charleston, SC on 12/4/2023
I'd transitioned to CDs in the early 1990s, and after letting a decent record collection sit idle for 30 years, finally decided to get a new turntable so I could reexperience that long dormant vinyl. My "vintage" Phillips 212 had literally fallen apart sitting in a stereo cabinet, but it reminded me that I'd preferred a manual turntable so I embarked on finding an affordable one that still offered specific features I wanted: decent specs, 78 RPM playback, USB output, and an integrated dust cover. I'd been looking at ATs for a few years, and when I saw this model was available and in stock for $80 off I just couldn't pass it up. Running it off of an old Yamaha R-S500 receiver with a set of Polk TSi100 speakers in my home's small upstairs computer room doesn't allow me to tell just how good this turntable and cartridge combo really is. However, even for my 64 year old ears, I get an insanely big smile every time I put on one of my pristine old records, clean it with some "well aged" D4 fluid and a microfiber cloth, and spin it up! The turntable was really easy to assemble and set up, and it took me longer to clear and clean off a nice space for it than it did to get it ready to play. Bottom line - this is an awesome piece of high fidelity gear that should satisfy all but the most discerning audiophile. Anyone who wants to enter the sonic world of vinyl, or has a treasured collection that they want put back into play, would be well advised to consider this tur
Pros: Easy setup, 78 RPM playback, well-balanced dust cover, rear RCA line jacks, good vibration isolation, illuminator for tonearm cartridge when setting and playing.
Cons: RCA phono cable is too short for some equipment arrangements, instructions provided won't be sufficient for some users.

Amazing turntable. I bought this about a week ago and I am absolutely in love with it. I did end up upgrading the stylus (AT-VMN95ML) and noticed the difference. Turntable is currently blue-toothed to a pair of Klipsch 41-PM speakers. A new pair of 51-PM's and a 10" subwoofer are on the way! I'm kicking myself asking why didn't I do this 10 years ago...
Pros: Can connect directly to bluetooth speakers.
Cons: Added $150 stylus upgrade for exceptional sound.

Very pleased with this turntable
Thomas from Rantoul, IL on 7/8/2023
I purchased this turntable because it offered both Bluetooth and USB. I live in a 2-story apartment; Bluetooth allows me to listen to vinyl anywhere in the apartment using a portable speaker. I wanted USB to pull recordings off the records for listening in the car. The turntable arrived on schedule and was very well packaged. The quick start instructions were sufficient to get it installed and working, but I did download the user manual from the Internet. I'm not known for purchasing items for their visual appeal; function is most important to me. But I have to say that I admire the turntable every time I walk past it. I've had no issues with it's operation. Pairing with my bluetooth speaker is almost immediate without issues, though I do have the speaker next to the turntable when pairing; I've not tried to pair while elsewhere in the apartment. I didn't think very much about whether to purchase a manual vs automatic operation. This model is manual. I don't like that I have to manually return the tonearm at the end of the record or it just sits on the record and spins. My previous turntable was a very old Dual I purchased while in college. It was an automatic; so that's what I was used to.
Pros: Very well packaged Easy Installation Easy bluetooth pairing Looks great Operates as advertised
Cons: Doesn't lift tonearm at end of record; to be expected from manual turntable, but something I didn't think about and was used to automatic.

Budget Audiophile
Paul from Boston on 1/3/2023
First and most important is the Audio-Technica's sound quality. It's neutral and transparent with articulate bass, ear-pleasing natural treble, fine dynamic presence and a good sound stage. This turntable does what fine audio equipment is supposed to do, which is to deliver the music as performed with a minimum of coloration or loss. It has isolating feet that adjust to level the deck. The tonearm seems precisely machined. The elliptical stylus is a plus, and the MM cartridge itself is perfectly fine and can of course be upgraded. The cuing light is a nice feature. If I were looking for something to nitpick, the aesthetics leave something to be desired. The Audio-Technical lacks the minimalist grace of an expensive audiophile 'table. But I got this component not to look at but to listen to. And there it more than holds its own, especially considering the price. It replaces a 90s era Arison Ikon that finally bit the dust. This Audio-Technica table is definitely in the same class. To evaluate this ear-pleasing bargain I've been listening to Classical LPs through Rotel separate amp & preamp, subwoofered B&W speakers.
Pros: Sound quality
Cons: Could be prettier

Got a Lemon :(
Crutchfield customer from Avon, CT on 10/5/2022
Lotta good reviews. Unfortunately, I got a lemon. Opened the box after 60 days and so, return option is not available either. I think it's the cartridge. The needle position is not right and I can see that. It's totally inside the groove and hence, the casing is rubbing against surface while playing. Humming/feedback all kinds of noises that you can imagine. Not what I expected. So, currently it's just occupying some space that's all! Will try with another cartridge before throwing it away in the basement. Complete waste of money.

LP120XBT-USB vs ProJect E1BT
Arthur from Buffalo, NY on 9/8/2022
I purchased this turntable after my brand new Pro-Ject E1 BT table bluetooth function died after one month. After waiting another month of waiting for repairs, I obtained a refund. It was not bought through Crutchfield, because we all know Crutchfield would have resolved this within days. Due to my current set up of using Blusound mini flex speakers, they recommended to use a table with AptX bluetooth functionality. The Pro-ject E1 BT sounded cleaner and I believe had a higher volume capability then the LP120XBT-USB table. The set up was very easy with the LP120XBT, and has a decent sound, although a bit muddy. I've been using this table for about 3 weeks and noticed that the bluetooth signal, for lack of better terms, is a little fluttery. The sound occasionally cuts out between the channels for a split second or two. The Audio-Technica LP60BT did the same thing. I did not experience this flutter at all with the Pro-Ject E1 BT table, however it only worked for about a month. I'm at the point of trying to decide of either trying the TEAC TN-400BT-SE turntable or upgrading the cartridge on the LP120XBT-USB.
Pros: Easy set up Huge improvement over the ATLP60BT turntable Table is stable Removeable dust cover
Cons: Sound is a little muddy Bluetooth signal inconsistent

Great turntable.Reminds me of the Technics direct drive, fully automatic turntable my brother had in the late 1970s. Perfect except I wish it was fully automatic but that's asking too much these days.
Pros: Well built. Can adjust speed. Easy to use.
Cons: None so far. wish it was fully automatic.

Pros: Direct drive three speeds restaurant table is well-made and the sound quality is excellent

Very satisfied with this turntable
Dallas from Beaverton, MI on 2/16/2022
I wanted to get back into vinyl but did not want an entry level turn table so I have been looking for a while. After hours of research, I finally pulled the trigger on the AT 120. It arrived timely, was easy to set up and I just love the sound quality. Very satisfied with this turntable!
Pros: Easy set up
Cons: Non so far

David from Aliquippa, PA on 1/28/2022
I upgraded to this model from the LP-60USB and I LOVE it! It is a more solid build and feels so smooth. The audio is much more clear. The blue tooth works great! Now I can listen to records while on my deck with a portable speaker! I would highly recommend this turntable!
Pros: USB BLUE TOOTH HIGH QUALITY 3 SPEED CHOICES ANTI SKATE LIGHTS
Cons: Does not have auto return, BUT I knew that 'cause it is a manual turntable. ;)

Bluetooth connectivity is killer
Kristen from Grand Junction, CO on 1/26/2022
I'm sure I will make some upgrades over time, maybe try some different stylus options, but overall I'm super happy with the turntable. AptX Bluetooth works incredibly well, it isn't at all like the early, over-compressed sound from when Bluetooth first came out. I love having the turntable next to where I'm sitting and listening to the music and it easily pairs with my different headphones and my receiver. I'm using a Bludento HD with AptX HD into my $700 receiver and I can't tell the difference between wireless and hard-wired (even bypassing the built-in pre-amp & using the receivers phono input). It's just really nice to be able to put the turntable where you want and all it needs is a single power-cord/wall-wart. I do wish it shipped with a better mat or a nice, heavy acrylic platter I also wish it came with a specific protractor for getting the optimal cartridge alignment
Pros: Bluetooth Easy setup Looks like the iconic Technics 1200s
Cons: Cheap felt slipmat Entry-level stylus/cartridge Heavier counter-weight option has been discontinued Plastic 45 adapter Looks like the old Technics 1200s

I had originally ordered this on a different website but I got tired of waiting for it to ship since it was backordered. Thankfully I came across Crutchfield and was shocked to see it in stock because it's literally out of stock everywhere else. It shipped the next day and arrived 5 days later! Very pleased with the outstanding service, and I'm in love with this record player. Highly recommend! ??

SO HAPPY!!!!
Erica from San Ramon, CA on 1/19/2022
After telling a friend that the turntable I wanted was impossible to find: out of stock everywhere, he suggested Crutchfield citing excellent customer service and good prices. And even though my item was back ordered until mid April, I got it anyways. Imagine my joyful surprise to get my order in less than a week- mid-January!! I am very happy with my product and the service provided. Highly recommend

Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB
Crutchfield customer from Dennison, OH on 10/31/2021
Great turntable for the price. I was unable to play any of my nearly 1000 LP's so I was looking to fill the void. The biggest hurdle to overcome was the fact that I had no stereo system. I spotted this one and really liked it's features. Especially the Bluetooth. I paired the turntable with my TV's sound bar. Maybe the sound isn't concert quality but it's so good to hear my vinyl again. And dealing with Crutchfield was quick and easy.

So far I am very happy with this purchase. I have been hesitant in purchasing a turntable. I haven't had one since I was in my mid 20's. For a gift, my kids, bless their heart, purchased me an all in one system that includes a turntable, cd, and cassette player. They also purchased me a couple of Metallica records. I didn't have the heart to play those vinyls on this system. I have waited a few years to finally open them and play them on a proper turntable. I didn't want to spend more than 400 dollars for a turntable as I didn't want this to become an expensive habit. I opted on this unit as it has bluetooth and I would connect it to my Vizio soundbar 5.1 system. The set-up was straightforward and was up and running in less than 15 minutes. I would recommend this as a starter turntable.

Ramon Perez from San Juan, PR on 6/6/2021
So far it has met and exceeded my expectations. Never mind what so called audiophiles say about it's shortcomings, it is best in its class; check all the reviews you want. An interesting detail is that the built-in phono amp criticized on earlier models is excellent in my his one. Actually, it is noticeably better than the built-in one in my Klipsch R41 PM, esp in metals and string instruments. So far it's been a great experience.
