This is so much better than the OEM stereo. Installation wasn't easy, but the instructions were accurate. Follow them and don't get frustrated. With four JVC CS-DR621 speakers, the sound is much improved from stock. The controls are small and the screen can be dim during daylight hours if someone is concerned about that. At first, it felt a little complicated, but after spending some time with the controls, it is pretty easy to get what you want.

Cool Color Changing Led and nice bass

Pretty nice headunit, especially for the price. Sounds really good and pumps out some nice bass from my speakers. Really like the built in led's. I went ahead and bought all the stuff Crutchfield recommended and it made installment much easier! Definitely will buy from them again.

Clean crisp audio

After 2 years of using this I will write this review after I FINALLY set up Bluetooth with my phone. So for the past 2 years I've been using my android with aux thinking it was superior. I finally gave Bluetooth a try and I was shocked how much better it sounded. The noise floor issue was solved as I guess my phone wasn't pushing enough through aux. The sound and DAC is so much better than my phone and clear and loud without distorting. I honestly never had complaints about this unit to begin tho. Easy to install and sounds great with my Hertz 6x9 speakers. Only "negative" is the display can be hard to read but it's more of an annoyance to me. Another option I might consider is an external Bluetooth DAC hooked up aux but it's just an idea honestly. Other than that I recommend this head unit very much for a cheap but good sounding head unit.

Decent inexpensive unit

This was bought to install in my daughters 2010 CRV. We've had it for about a week and she keeps telling me how much she loves it. It was pretty simple to install and the instructions were easy to follow

Exdellent Sound: Horrible Manual

Quality Sound - Dim Display

5-star customer service thanks to Witt. He managed to find and forward to me a spare piece of wiring that I accidentally destroyed during the install. Now SWC works. In terms of the radio, this JVC is decent enough. High quality sound without a lot of adjustment needed (although I don't use the internal crossover or amp). Others have complained about the dim display and I must agree. You really cannot see it in daylight. If that's going to disappoint you, consider the marine version (from Crutchfield) - same radio, different display (lacks 2nd USB rear port). Also, see below for how the Metra dash kit makes a single DIN radio look right at home in a double DIN opening. Finally, radio does not come with screws for mounting. I used M5x10 flathead.

GARBAGE

Garbage. # 1: The display is too dim to see during the day. # 2: The sound is terrible. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to make adjustments to the sound based on the size of the speakers and the size of the vehicle, but they missed the mark entirely. If only these bugs, in mean features, could be turned off. # 3: The "Pro EQ" settings that you finally figure out get completely overwritten if you test out one of the preset EQ settings. # 4: Like the other sound "features", being able to turn off the crossover would be nice.

Well integrated and feature complete

This receiver has a nice feature set and great sound. There are lots of great receivers so it's hard to stand out in a crowded field, so I was expecting good sound. What surprised me about this one though, was how complete the package was. The owners manual is good, knob placement and interface accessibility is good, inclusion of a high quality mic with attachment adhesive is handy, phone pairing and call integration was immediate, and call quality is great. So very quickly after installation I was using all the features of this receiver with very little hassle. Also I like that 22 watts of power is better than many receivers so I didn't need to get an amplifier. This might deserve five stars but I'll reserve the five star rating for a receiver that makes coffee, and gets my dry cleaning.

This Radio JVC KD-T925BTS is a low Cost Radio BUT it has the best sound and feathers, Clear Sound at high Volume I installed this radio in a 2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, I used the pre-made harness so did not cut any of the factory harness also used the face plate kit, fit like glove. Easy to learn from instruction with radio also Crutchfield also proved PDF instruction as well. Tech support is great, answered all my question.

Some of the dip switch settngs in the directions were confusing. There was no remote in the box In the end, the radio display didn't work and there are no more in stock. So I had to purchase a different, more expensive, radio

The KD-T925BTS is a great sounding head unit and has a lot of features for its price. It has decent clean power built in, It does everything great but display is way to dark in the daytime. I've never had a screen this dark in the 30+ years of owning vehicles. JVC definitely didn't test this display in the real world. Great product except for that issue. Nice touch having second usb plug.

Good little CD player

This is a nice little radio that has some good features such as dual USB inputs. Everything has hooked up very easily including the satellite radio. The controls take some getting used to, but I feel like there's a learning curve every time you get a new radio. It looks good in the dash but the display is very hard to read in direct sunlight. I have the brightness turned up to the highest setting and it's still hard to see and at times, impossible. This may be partly due to the angle that the radio sits in the aftermarket dash kit but even viewing straight on, the display seems dim.

The radio seems to work quite well so far - the downside was the installation instructions, which were terrible. The instructions listed more than one color of wire for each connection and in several cases, neither of the colors of wires on the instructions even existed on the plug for the stereo. I eventually got it working by trial and error but there was no need for it to be so difficult.

No quality control.

It is perfect except for the part where the screen is so dark it's unreadable in the daytime! Did no one at JVC take the time to put one in and see if it was bright enough? It reminds us of the line in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldblum says "now are there going to be dinosaurs in your dinosaur park?" Isn't being able to see the screen kind of basic to a car stereo? I've been buying car stereos from Crutchfield since December of 1985 and always praise the customer service and quality. After seeing the reviews, did no one there think-"hmm, maybe we should pull this and offer something you can see"?

Dim Screen

Install is pretty simple. Main piece of adapter kit (for a Honda) arrived broken, but Crutchfield replaced quickly. Sound is good. Controls are well illuminated, with options, but the display screen is very hard to see in daylight and it can't be adjusted. "Alexa what time is it" isn't how I roll.

Great features, but the daytime screen is dim to read.

The daytime screen is difficult to read and if it is adjustable, the manual has difficulty in making the procedure seem simple. The simplest solution would be a function to brighten and dim directly at the panel.

I bought this radio for my son's 86 (square body) truck which is his daily driver to school and work. He Loves it. He has decided to leave it on demo mode because it constantly changes colors. Has lots of features that his generation enjoys. He will get many years of enjoyment out of this radio.

Awesome receiver with loads of features

Awesome unit! Very pleased with the JVC KD-T925BTS. Just paired it up w/Alexa. I wanted a head unit that could also play CD's (yes, I still have over 200 CD's). The sound quality is excellent. Lots of features and options. Easily paired up with my smartphone. I'm still going through all the different settings. My only gripe would be the user manual (not very detailed about the settings). Other than that I can highly recommend the JVC KD-T925BTS! PS - I'm amazed that Crutchfield also included the dash kit and wiring harness for FREE!

The deck is ok. The wiring harness that I ordered in addition to sure made installation a snap. Every wire was color coded to match. Just solder, plug, and play !
