2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Replaced OEM speakers in Grand Cherokee Harman Kardon system in front door. Sound did not seem as clear as OEM and output was 5dB to 8dB lower. This could be due to the unusual configuration and setup of the HK system, as I have yet to find an aftermarket speaker that improves the sound. I have Infinity Reference in my other Jeep and they sound excellent.

I installed these in a Jeep soundbar. What a huge improvement over the Alpine Premium speaker system. Bass is clear and deep. The highs from the tweeters are amazing. Outstanding speakers.
Pros: Quality price performance
Cons: None. I guess they could be free and install themselves.

Do not sound to bad in my son's truck without an amp. Have already ran new speaker wires for future amp. Midbass is decent and the high are not very irritating

Great sound, double check your connections.
Russell from LONGWOOD, FL on 5/9/2025
2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
These component speakers fit well in my 2013 Chevy Silverado, and the tweeters actually fit perfectly within the grille housing from the factory tweeters without needing to cut holes in the perferated grilles in the a-frame covers. As expected, woofers give punchy bass with factory radio, tweeters sound great. I do have an issue with the passenger tweeter as it stopped working the other day. I've rechecked my connections, got frustrated and remade them, rechecked the crossover connections, but still no luck. I still recommend this set, I've not had issues with the brand and think if I can't figure it out will need to buy another set of tweeters.

2008 Chevrolet Impala
Installed in a 2008 Impala with "standard" sound system. Removed the factory tweeter housings from the a pillars and cut a round hole to mount the tweeter swivel mount. You get several different tweeter mounts. I used the Infinity crossover because I saw a small capacitor on the back of the factory tweeter, so I imagine the radio feeds full range to that point. Stuffed the crossover behind the a pillars, which doesn't look great, but it works. I do not know who needs the +3 db setting on the crossover for more treble. Definitely didn't need that. The sound is great. Nice bass, even with the factory head unit. Speakers play loud enough. Tweeters sound nice and crisp, but I tend to like a bright sound.

2018 Honda Accord Sport
Clarity is awesome, didn't purchase for power or loudness, running straight off factory head unit. Installed on 2018 Honda Accord, tweeter I found to be the easier of the components to install. Freebie brackets weren't that great. Had to finagle to get it to fit correctly. Could have used a foot or two of foam tape to seal between the brackets and metal doors. Overall very satisfied as I said I was out for clarity and crispness in the sound A+

Component set sounds good, better than the factory drivers for sure. They included the harness for the woofer but not for the tweeter. For anyone else looking for a harness to connect the tweeter without tapping the factory wiring in a 2023 explorer with B&O sound, you need the Metra 72-5605. Hope they update their vehicle list for those connectors.

Superb sound and crisp detail. Music sounds phenomenal and with an amp, I'm sure would be even more awesome. I did not utilize the crossover because my 98 Trans Am has a factory amplified system and dedicated wiring for the tweeter. Fit was excellent.
Pros: Rich clear sound, excellent range, no distortion.
Cons: None

Wanted to keep the separate tweeter mounting on my Toyota Camry so these speakers were right for my car . All the tweeter adapters made it easy to choose what worked best . The crossover takes a little time and additional wire to hook up but was easy with all the markings for wiring . Nice touch with a 0 To +3 DB on the tweeter setting . Sounds great !
Pros: All hardware necessary for installation Less wiring . Nice crisp sound .
Cons: A little longer time needed and placement for the crossover box ,

Great build quality for the money, I had to cut the eight screws used to mount woofer to bracket because all provided were too long, other than that the install was simple. I set crossover to 3db treble boost and the sound is very bright, I still need to fine tune the eq and crossovers in head unit.

Beautiful sounding speakers. Stock head unit, JBL system in a 2010 camry so not powering them to their fullest capability (plan to run a 5 channel amp in the future). Highs are not harsh on the ears at higher volumes like they can be with other brands.
Pros: Crystal clear highs and mids are just right. Come with several attachments for tweeter placement.
Cons: None

Had the clarity I was looking for
Andrey from Rowlands Heights, CA on 5/26/2024
2020 Honda Accord Sport
It's been over a decade since I've done any car audio work, but I couldn't stand the stock sound in my 2020 Accord anymore. Honda really dropped the ball on this car. These Infinitys fit right into my price bracket. I knew I needed to spend around the $200 region to get the clarity and improvement over stock. Too far over that mark and it would be diminishing returns due to the poor insulation of the vehicle (I lined with Noico to combat this). Now, onto the sound and tuning. I'll preface by saying I prefer neutral tuning in my sound systems, so with these being labeled "reference," I was naturally drawn to them. These did not disappoint. Tweeters were very clear and the crossover provides a 3db boost button. At stock levels, the boost caused the treble to be a little piercing and sibilant, so I EQed it down to my preference to make it less bright. The tweeters also handle a healthy portion of vocal frequencies, making them stand out in songs, and making podcasts sound great. The woofers have decent midbass and great clarity as well. These are component speakers so don't expect them to cover bass or sub bass frequencies. You will need a sub. Lastly, these speakers were efficient enough for my vehicle's stock amp. I perceived a volume increase at the same level. I will probably never a separate amp for these.
Pros: - clarity - neutral tuning - tweeter comes with a plethora of mounting options
Cons: - no bass or sub bass (but to be expected) - treble can get sharp if using boost

2021 Kia Seltos
Purchased a Kia Seltos with Bose "premium sound". Was good at the dealership but when I started driving it around it became apparent that most music sounded subpar at best. Called Rucker at Crutchfield. I've had good luck with them in the past. Rucker sent me some Infinity Reference components for the front doors and Infinity coax in the rear. Installation was fun and creative. Did some partial sound treatment behind the speaker holes where I could reach and put some on the baffle area. Everything I needed was included but suggest getting some foam rings to seal off the gap between the speaker and the door. I've been installing my own car audio since I was a teen and this was just a fun project. Needles to say I'm blown away at the clarity of the mid low range and the superb imaging. Bravo! 5 stars for Infinity and Crutchfield.
Pros: Amazing improvement in mid low range, clear and precise imaging.
Cons: Suggest getting a foam ring gasket to seal off the space between the grill and the front of the speakers

I like these. The angled tweeter is pretty cool. The tweeters additionally have a button to increase their sound output if you have a beefy door panel. Crystal clear audio. My only con is that these sound a little weird when paired with my cheap walmart kicker subwoofer, just match these speakers with a good woofer

Super efficient speakers!
Jonathan from NJ on 3/21/2024
2021 Honda Civic
Excellent set of speakers. I installed them on my 2021 Honda Civic Sport Sedan. Stock speakers just weren't cutting it for me so I bought these. Not regretting my purchase of these one bit. Although the speakers MIGHT have been missing some screws and a nut for one of the tweeters. But there's also a good chance that I lost them since the install was done outside so I'm not gonna dock points. Currently running these off a stock head unit and they can get very loud. Loud enough to where I'm probably not going to need to amplify them in the future. One important factor if you're looking to buy these is that you will need to run a sub with them if you're looking for a rich deep bass, as the frequency does not go super low (but I'm sure that's by design or I might just be underpowering them). Overall very good balanced sound. I'm probably going to be buying another set of these to install on my rear deck. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good quality speaker to run off low power/stock head unit.
Pros: Very efficient speakers Can get very loud without much distortion Somewhat easy install Gets loud even off stock head unit
Cons: Frequency response does not go down super low, you'll probably need a sub
