Great head unit!

This is my second purchase of this unit. Easy to use and sounds great. The smaller size is a bonus for install. Crutchfield makes it so easy with detailed instructions for my specific vehicle. The extra $$ for the wiring to be done is a godsend. I would highly recommend this unit if you are streaming from Bluetooth or a usb.

Just what I was looking for

Was looking for a receiver to plug my iPhone in to charge and play music/podcasts/radio. So far so good, clean display, sounds great and the radio reception is more clear than it was with the factory. Installed very easy, we'll see how it operates in the long run.

72 year old with a 30 year old truck

easy fit for my '93 Ranger. Antique now I just drive weekend mornings and needed some tunes. It replaced a Kenwood I had since the late 90's that still worked fine but the display expired. All the support info included was spot on, but my speakers still rocked so replacing the receiver was as easy as reloading a cooler with a 12 pack.

Set up was a breeze with the instructions provided with the radio and the harness I purchased. Hooking up my phone was super easy so I could finally listen to my personal music. The microphone for the hand free talking works amazingly as well had no issues being heard with the mic mounted under my steering wheel in my 2012 chevy silverado

So So Radio

It's an OK radio. I went the cheap route, and probably should have spent a few more bucks. The radio works fine, but the buttons are small, some of the menus are difficult to navigate, and the manual looks to be written by an 11 year old. As usual, the installation kit and instructions were fantastic! The motto here is: Buy once, cry once.

Easy install and a definite upgrade over the Pioneer CD Player that was previously in my 2001 F250. Sound adjustment has lots of functionality, bluetooth works, people can hear me over the loud diesel. It is on the lower end of the pricing range, seems to be excellent value if it lasts.

I found the sound quality not even close compared to a 20 yr old Alpine in the same vehicle & speakers. When the voume is high it loses all sound quality. The EQ adjustments are confusing with too many that are hard to use. I finally got it to sound OK and tried to get my self to like it but just couldn't

Best customer service

The product is fine. Pretty easy to install, works much better than the boss unit it replaced. The real gem is the Crutchfield customer service. I've spoken to three people so far for technical support. They were all great. If they didn't know the answer, they spent the time to look it up. I also didn't have any wait time. Try to find another large consumer company with knowledgeable tech support and the absence of long hold times. If you are installing the product yourself, it is worth spending a few more dollars (or more) over other retailers for the support. I received more than my money's worth in tech support.

Installed in a 2008 Tacoma no JBL. Sounds great, connects to phone easily. The Metra faceplate isn't well crafted, fit and finish for the hazard light/clock assembly was..meh. Ended up buying the Scosche version and it's fit and finish is way cleaner.

Works fine so far. Replacing a previous kenwood that died an early death (face plate display quit first, then other functions) we will see if this one lasts. The one in my jeep, 300 series, is still going so fingers crossed.

Radio is horrible the clock never saves everytime you get in your car the clocks at 12 also the buttons are so small for radio presets it's just a horrible design way too many settings that are confusing as well

Just as I expected from Crutchfield!!! Everything came in on time, and nothing damaged!! Why buy a used stereo from someone, when you can pay a few more dollars to get what you want? And if anyone is new to Crutchfield I highly recommend paying a little extra for the ReadyHarness which eliminates having to wire up "almost everything!!!" Just plug, and play. When my daughter bought her first car stereo I made sure she came here. She had questions about some of the features of her stereo after, she bought it, and when she called Crutchfield they were very friendly, and made sure they answered every question before hanging up. Anyways what I'm saying is I consider Crutchfield a family member ??????????
