Unless you just object to free stuff and have a need to prove your wiring skills...Get these. No reason to work hard when you don't have to. Perfect fit and wires' terminals match those on the speaker, so you don't even have to worry about right wire, wrong terminal issues. First quality stuff!

2011 Ram 1500 Sport. Plugged in and worked immediately. I was very happy not to have to splice together some wires with tape all hokey looking because my soldering equipment is not with me at the moment(I couldn't wait to change my factory speakers. lol)

This not as the photo depicts. Two spade lugs on wires that need to be crimped to the factory wiring. You have to cut off the original connectors.The whole intent of this harness is maintain the integrity of the factory harness Fails miserably!

The harness worked great on the Jeep connection side of things. However, on the speaker side, they would not connect firmly enough to stay connected. They kept falling off the tabs as I tried to install the speakers. This became very frustrating. I had to try and crip the connectors while they were on the speaker tabs. This caused the tabs to bend and I had to straighten them and start all over again. All in all a very frustrating experience.

Pros: No need for splicing into vehicle wire harness.

Cons: Speaker connectors don't connect very well.

Wiring harness adapter kit was well worth it for replacement of original 2003 Jeep Rubicon overhead rollbar speakers. Being able to plug in connectors is much easier than cutting, stripping, and crimping wiring for those of us who only use wire crimpers once every ten years, or so. And, speakers went in easily and work well so far per my review on them elsewhere in Crutchfield's website.

I was glad to find this subwoofer wiring harness that fits my 2021 Mustang. My Mustang came with the OEM B&O stereo. I had to cut and strip back the ends to connect the Polk subwoofer I purchased from Crutchfield, but this saved me from having to modify the Mustang wiring harness.

This is the neatest thing since sliced bread. No need to strip the factory wires and crimp on terminals. Connect one end to the factory connector and the other slides onto the speaker terminals. Brilliant idea!

Glad Crutchfield gives you these when you order speakers, make installs nice and easy. Only thing, when you buy these for a 2019 Ram 1500 (5th Gen) with Alpine factory system you need to switch the wires in the plug. Can be done easily with pick tool. Stock speakers are reverse polarity on the Alpine system in these trucks.

Vehicle: 2019 Ram Classic The good: the harness seems well put together and plugs right in. The bad: Every speaker came out with a negative polarity. I tested the factory speakers before the swap, and all 4 door speakers are supposed to have positive polarity. I had to cut off the connectors and crimp on new ones in order to switch the speaker wires at the speaker and get the correct polarity. I had everything I needed to do this luckily. But others may not. I'm sure most people don't even test polarity and end up not knowing there is an issue. This is not good as it can affect sound quality especially in the crossover region. I specifically ordered from Crutchfield instead of the big online retailer because of issues like this. I was willing to pay more, and pay for shipping in order to not have any issues. Well that plan backfired. I paid more and still had to put in extra work and use my own materials. Lol. But at least the plug fit....

These were included free with my speaker purchase for my 2009 Dodge Ram 3500. It's hard to complain about free but I have a gripe anyway. They plug into the factory harness perfectly. The problem was the spade terminals that go to the speaker were the wrong size so Crutchfield also included correct size spade connectors. You have to cut the terminals off these harnesses and crimp the correct size ones on. Maybe this was due to the Rockford Fosgate speaker I bought, I'm not sure. Just seems odd to get a speaker adapter harness that still won't adapt an aftermarket speaker without further modifications.

These are much better than building your own with cutting, stripping, pushing, wrapping, re-wrapping and re-cutting and fumbling and hoping, and re-cutting.. Pros - they plug directly into my existing wire without problems. Cons - the little clamp on the end (the end that plugs into the speaker) was too tight. I utilized a small screwdriver to pry it open a little to make it fit. It added a bothersome step but was much better than what I could have created from other tools, wires, and speaker connections.

Pros: The handy connections plug directly into the speaker connection of the OEM speaker wire from my dash/in the door. This simplified that portion of the procedure so very much. I think this is the third stereo system I bought from Crutchfield over the years - can't go wrong!

Cons: A little too tight. I actually was a little worried after pushing and pushing that I ((6' 2" & 235 lb American) in cms and kgs, that is a bunch) was going to break my Polk Audio speakers, so, I used a tiny screwdriver and pried them open a bit more. Otherwise, I couldn't get them connected.

In November I order a pair of JBL speakers and they came with the free Metra plugs to make install easier. I just discovered why these speakers sound so blaaaa. The Metra plugs reverse the polarity of the wires! I think Crutchfield needs to advise buyers that these plugs may come reversed and that they need to check their cars wiring and perhaps switch the wiring in these plugs. Or do what I am doing and throw these plugs away and just do it the old fashion way by crimping or soldering.

Did not work at all. Crutchfield sent me the totally wrong plugs! These were supposed to fit 3 1/2 kickers to the factory harness in a 05 chrysler but of course the plug they sent was for 6x9s so i had to do extra work an rewire just to put some small speakers in my dash

These are amazing!! LOL I was worried at 1st thinking I would have to slice and reconnect factory wiring. When I got these and saw how easy they are to use, I was blown away. Easy plug and play to factory harness.

Pros: Easily connects to factory harness and to speakers. The slide connectors to the speaker are different sizes so they only go on the correct way.

Cons: The slide connector are a bit tight. If you're not careful you can bend the connectors on the speakers. Which are a little thin. I'd hate to have someone snap one off

The are great for coaxial installs and the make great connections for running through factory wiring and connecting to a more custom install to components that have a separate crossover.

This harness is intended to fit the rear side panels, but another harness is recommended for the front door location. We'll either help him get the correct harness, or help him return it for a refund.

Does the job. Nice not to have to cut and splice. Couldn't give five stars because some of them were so tight that it was extremely difficult to push onto the small blade terminals of the speaker.

Pros: Retain factory wiring harness. No cut/splice

These make install easy. I found the wires were reversed for my 2019 charger. I had to swap the wires. After first installing new speakers , they sounded "off" , and weak. I checked polarity and found the wires in this plug were backwards. Quick fix , and now new speakers sound awesome.

Cons: Mine had wires backwards. Needed to change them for correct polarity.

There's good and bad to this wiring harness. The white connection fits perfectly. I'm happy I didn't want to cut my factory speaker rise wires in my 19 RAM. The bad ... I had to cut the ground speaker connection off and replace it with a "Normal" size connector.

Pros: The white connection connects to the factory harness.

Cons: The speaker connections are too small to fit the speakers. I had to cut off the ends and replace with normal size ends. (See picture)

Plugs didn't match up for my Kicker 3/4" tweeters as it resulted in 2 females mating ;-o. I finally figured that by sliding back the rubber connection covers and hammering the connection flat on one terminal (the smaller one) that I could use it as flat. Slid rubber cover back and all worked great. Additionally the small prongs in the plastic coupler didn't line up enough to just slide the connections together; I had to tilt the male connector down to begin engaging the prongs into the appropriate slots.

It's a solid and fairly priced harness. In my particular situation though, the connectors to the speakers I had were too small, thus I had to modify. They're older speakers, Boston Acoustics RX97, for which the male connectors were larger than the harness.

Pros: Solid construction Plug & play for my '14 Ram 1500

Pros: Connectors make for a clean installation

Cons: Polarity was incorrect on left side if vehicle when compared factory wiring diagram. There may have been a wiring change starting in 2002. I simply cut wires, swapped connectors, soldered and re-insulated with shrink wrap.

As others have stated, it is a very snug fit. Be careful not to break the connectors on the speakers. Otherwise they wont come off on their own. Plug fits harness flawlessly.

I bought this for my 2013 Ram 1500 Crew cab. It's a very simple fix to attach to the factory speaker wire harness. The only problem I had was the spades were to small to fit the Rockford Fosgate speakers. I had to use my Dremel tool to grind the sides of the spades on the speakers to get the harness to fit.

Cons: Spades could be to small to fit some aftermarket speakers.

They work as advertised. I have a 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad cab with the 7 speakers infinity system. I needed to replace my stock speakers with aftermarket however the connection from amp to speaker used a proprietary connection. these solve the problem by allowing you to connect the wire from the amp to these adapters then to your aftermarket speaker. i used on all four doors. these made it a simple operation

Pretty simple part. It works as it should and now I have my Kicker 3.5"s in the dash of my Dodge Ram. Crutchfield was awesome getting the right ones for me, of course.

Pros: It's nice not having to splice wires. Thank goodness for these harnesses.

They work....But, don't forget to crimp, or solder them to the speaker!

Pros: Simple easy to use...

Cons: Mine went on door speakers. First few times doors were opened and closed the harness fell off both speakers. A second time taking off the complete door panel was obnoxious, so learn from my mistake.

These wiring items came as a kit for installation in my Jeep Wrangled. As easy a plug and play that could be asked for. I used the wiring to mount speakers in an original front pod setup. No splicing, cutting or soldering required.
