Metra 82-5604 Speaker Mounting Brackets

Overview: As of 10/3/22, the 82-5604 is compatible with select 2014-2021 Ford Transit vans. The bracket is designed to allow easy replacement of the factory speakers with select aftermarket 6½ or 6¾ speakers. (5¼s will also fit, but not well, so they are not recommended.) Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.

Note: The angled base plates are only used when the factory brackets are not present.

6¾ Speakers: For a 6¾ speaker to fit in the opening of this bracket, the tabs around the inner speaker opening need to be removed. They are scored along the bottom for easy removal, but still may require pliers and a file.

6½ Speakers: 6½ speakers with the 3-hole or 4-hole bolt pattern can be mounted using the tabs around the inner speaker opening of the bracket (if the hole spacing matches).

5¼ Speakers: While a 5¼ speaker will mount easily in this bracket given the bolt pattern, the frame of a typical 5¼ is approximately ½" smaller than the opening in the bracket, making a 6½ or 6¾ a better fit. When using a 5¼, a speaker baffle must also be used to seal the rear of the speaker.
