Great option for Kia Soul+ (LED ring note)

Great option for Kia Soul+/Sport. However, if you have the LED light rings (Soul lit speaker option -2010 for me) there is no instructions on how to attached to new speaker install. I ended up mounting the speakers on the inside of the adaptor (removing the inter optional tabs) then carefully removing the LED ring from the old mounting brackets (4 locking tabs and glued in original bracket - they don't come lose easy so be carful) mounted the LED ring on top of this bracket with a few wraps or electrical tape to secure the ring. The door panel will apply needed pressure to keep in place. Worked well!

Great product, minimal modifications

Great product that fit perfectly into the speaker mounts of my 2013 Kia Soul. Just had to drill a small hole to pass the speaker wires. The provided hardware did not work. I had to get bolts and nuts to secure to door mounts.

The mounting bracket was great, however the screws & claps that come with the kit were horrible. I had to spend another $35 to get better quality clamps & screw to work a lot better for this kit.

Speaker mount

Great buying experience, everything came in pretty quick. The speaker mounts all fit really well and were easy to install. The only problem I had was finding the right kind of screws to mount the speaker to the mount also there wasn't a place for the speaker connector to go without crushing the wire so some modifications were made. Other than that the mounts were great.

Great brackets

These brackets are amazing. The 2012 Kia Soul stock front door speakers are enclosed in a short tube that fits into the trim panel and directs the sound inside the car, it works really well. The local stereo install shop said they would have to custom build something to match the existing set-up. These brackets perfectly fulfil the purpose of the existing set-up, without the custom build, and they were easy to install. Thank you so much.

These do NOT fit a 2016 Kia Forte sedan front or rear as stated! The holes to mount speakers also do not line up with Rockford Fosgate 6 3/4" speakers.

They fit my car great. I just had to rotate it to determine where all the holes line up. I did pop rivet it back in, but that was easy. I was impressed.I did make a little hole for the speaker wires to pass thru.

Top holes fit but the bottom two did not align, so the bracket does not quite fit a 2015 Kia Forte EX factory speaker mounting holes. However, I opted to just drill into the plastic for the bottom two holes and they were still usable after I opted to do this.

It was OK for the 2013 Kia Forte. The mount itself did as expected, the mounting hardware provided could not be used. The 2013 had bolt on not riveted factory speaker and provided hardware was useless. I had to buy additional bolts.

They are made nice for my jl 6.5 but they don't fit correctly I had to drill a new hole for these to work.

Did the job. However, I ended up having to go to Home Depot to buy longer bolts to mount these speakers. The installation instructions showed the need to drill out rivets, but the oem speakers were bolted in, so I was not able to use the srews and clips that came with the brackets. All in all the brackets worked well.

Not Quite the Right Fit

According to Metra's website these fit 2001-2013 Hyundai/Kia. These were sent to me with my order of JL Audio TR650-CSi speakers for my 2016 KIA Forte5. There were no instructions included with these brackets even though it says "detailed installation instructions" right on the front of the package. No matter which way I tried to put the speakers into the brackets they would not fit. I had to snap off all of the little plastic tabs located along the inside of the ring to make the speakers seat properly into the bracket. The bracket was able to fit into my car door even thought it's not the proper bracket for my car. Some of the screws have to be put in at weird angles, but you can make it work in the end. Maybe you won't experience these problems with other speakers or other vehicles, but for the speakers I purchased, and car I have it was quite a bit of guessing and extra work to make it all fit together.

I have a 2015 Kia Soul +. These brackets fit perfectly for the front doors and the rear doors. For the fronts I have 6.75 inch JBL GTO608C speakers and they fit very well. I used speaker gasket tape underneath the bracket and underneath the speaker itself. I mounted the speaker directly to the bracket and did not use the brackets supplied with the JBL speakers. Do not tighten the screws too much or they will strip. It would be nice if there was a bit more plastic for the screws to bite into. The longer screws went through the plastic on the other side of the door so use either 1 inch screws or washers/spacers. Yes you do have to drill holes for the speaker wire, not a big deal. I used Metra 72-7300 speaker harnesses so no cutting wire. Seal the hole with either gasket tape or silicone. For the rear doors I have 6.5 inch speakers so I used silicone to seal the flat spacer to the bracket I also sealed all the gaps underneath. It's an extra step but I think it makes for a more solid connection and will keep it from eventually loosening up and vibrating. Good product, could be a little beefier/thicker. I especially like that I didn't have to make any further modifications to the car after I took out the stock speakers.

2016 Kia Soul+ with standard sound system These were thrown in by Crutchfield with the KFC-1795PS speakers I bought. They fit both the front and back doors just fine. I only needed one half of the bracket, the larger/thicker half. I did have to drill a small hole (1/4") in the side of them for the speaker wires to go through. The 1 inch #8 screws that came with the speakers were the right length for mounting them to the door. I didn't bother making a tight seal with the door panel so I can't attest to how good they are for that in this car. Considering all the factors involved, the speaker being that tight to the door panel was down the list a ways in the reasons for not having perfect sound.

Hi all. I got these with a set of JBL GT7 speakers from Crutchfield. It Helps. Couple of Problems. Mostly Minor. Screws Supplied (And Factory mounting) are TOO Short. After I took the door panel off and removed the rear speakers I found that out. Had to run to HD and get 8 #12x 1" Screws to mount the brackets. And ha to drill holes to run the speaker wires through. The Speaker Mounting holes lined up with the JBL GT7-6 speakers. But the holes could be easily stripped out if tightened too much.
