Fits well; however, it allows open space above AND it is not as big as the original. I took the door off the Honda cubby and used it instead!
Pros:
Cons: Too small inside especially since i could EASILY unscrew door from larger Honda original

Fit well. It was weak at the bottom where the screws to reattach the 12 volt power supply attached.
Pros: Fit well.
Cons: Weak

It's a shame the extrusion mold was positioned in the center of the back of the pocket. The divot is noticeable. The pocket mounted easily and securely in my 2004 Accord. I have no concerns of rattling. It is smaller than the factory pocket, allowing room for cabling above it.
Pros: Good fit, solid construction
Cons: Blemish caused by the manufacturing process

Meh
Ken from Woodbridge, VA on 9/5/2016
As with review below, I was expecting a tight factory-like finish after install, and there is about a 1" gap. Not a big deal, but I think it's a tad annoying. It looks nice if just a tad narrower than the factory pocket, but not a big deal. I tried to install the factory part without the door, and that looked worse.
Pros: goes with the Metra HVAC replacement for Honda Accords
Cons: Smaller

Looks Good
Daniel from Columbus, OH on 7/9/2016
2007 Honda Accord EX
Looks good and fits nicely. Bought with the Metra 99-7803 Dash kit.
Pros: Color matches. Fits factory clips and mounting holes. I actually prefer this pock over the factory one with the door.
Cons: There is a slight gap between pock bezel and dash opening, not big enough to be noticeable but slightly annoying when you are expecting a factor finish. Plastic on inside of pocking has the cheaper extruded look but again not noticeable unless you are looking for it.

Good fit in my Accord. It is smaller than stock unit and you loose the capability to close it, which is unfortunate but it goes with the Metra dash kit well.
Pros: Good fit with associated kit.
Cons: Smaller than original unit, no door or lid to close like OEM pocket.

I had to modify/trim the mount tabs to get the clips to lock in place. Make sure you do this prior to installation if you are doing a test fit or plan to remove it. If you do not, the clips may fall off and become lost in the void below. I also glued the clips for a little extra piece of mind and to help prevent dash rattles.

Great! Looks good!
Joeyc from Los Angeles, ca on 10/9/2015
I wouldn't have wanted to leave it in there with the door not working . Also, the old pocket is too deep. This is perfect and easier to grab small items like a wallet or remote.
Pros: Good fit, good look. Good use of space.
Cons: I had trouble finding the correct position at first even though was over screw holes. You'll know when it's in the right place though.

Junk. Fits in the hole that the metra dash kit leaves you with, but that's it. Doesn't lock in. Not anywhere near as nice as the factory pocket.
Pros: It's an option. Basically none.
Cons: Ugly. Sloppy fit. Only option.

A Necessary Evil
Jim from Kentucky on 7/19/2015
2007 Honda Accord EX
Cheap and shallow--about 2/3rd's as deep as my original pocket. No reason for the shallowness, other than poor design. Adding to the dissatisfaction were non-existent instructions and apparently no way to attach at the top. But...it goes with the Metra HVAC replacement for my 07 Accord, so I have to live with it. A shame, really. A bit better design would have made a first-class product that could be installed well.
Pros: It arrived unbroken.
Cons: Not as large as original pocket. No instructions. No way to attached at top.

The Pocket
Mike L from Sugar Creek Mo. on 4/26/2015

The Dash Pocket looks nice and is an easy install.
Pros: Matches with the face plate.
Cons: Possible that the original oem pocket could be used if you removed the door. Have not tried it yet and the metra pocket could be made alittle better to fill in some of the gaps on the sidewalls.

Installed in 05 Accord LX. Easy install. Pretty good match to original color and texture. Fit is good with only a slight gap between pocket and Metra 99-7803 dash installed above it - not sure which unit could have been modified for a tighter fit. Installs solidly with no rattles.
Pros: Good fit. Solidly mounted. Good match to OE color and texture.
Cons: Slight gap above unit between it and Metra 99-7803 dash.

easy to install, looks and feels good and the instructions that came with everything were very easy to follow. I only had 1 screw left over.
Pros: really does fit in nicely; easy to install and looks good considering it is a replacement piece.
Cons: Fits in and fills the space nicely but not as big a cubby hole as the factory. Smaller in size and no door to hide items being stored.

It fills the space well enough
Ed B from Illinois on 1/4/2015
2004 Honda Accord LX
This is needed when you install the Metra temperature controls / radio install kit in a 2003-2007 Accord. The factory cubby with the door would no longer open and close, so this 'open' cubby is a decent replacement. The installed unit does not feel as anchored as the factory bin, but it does fill the space and provide a functional storage area.
Pros: Crutchfield's prices if you buy a stereo and these installation accessories! Great installation instructions. Functional storage cubby. Fills the space well.
Cons: Not as solid-feeling as factory storage and does not hide items being stored.

Not much to say other than it actually looks good installed. I was a bit skeptic about how it might look considering the stock pocket I had was carbon fiber from the factory but now that this aftermarket is installed it's growing on me.
Pros: Matches the dash kit for the radio
Cons: No flip open door like stock

Sufficient
Bryan P. from New Jersey on 11/4/2014
2005 Honda Accord LX
Bought as part of a whole package to replace the non-working radio in my Honda Accord. Was not shipped with original order and I had to call Crutchfield to have it sent to me a few days later. I had read a lot of reviews that said get the pocket so you don't have to use your stock one and either leave the door open or close it forever. It's functional. Looks o.k. for my standards in my daily commuter car. I guess for the money it was worth it.
Pros:
Cons: It fits! But it just doesn't seem to be connected as solidly as the stock one was.

Only reason I bought this item is because its pretty much required if you buy the Metra head unit for the 03-07 honda accord. I do like it, its simple and fits well, but I would much prefer the stock pocket if I were able to use it
Pros: Fits well, simplistic look, flows well with the metra head unit
Cons: None

Good fit but no door
TyB from Kennewick WA on 7/4/2013
Unit fit great into my 2005 Honda Accord LX. Looks good, but why didn't the manufacturer make a door, even if it was just a clip on, it would be better than nothing. Glad to still have a cubby to put things into
Pros: Good fit. Matched my interior.
Cons: No cover or door.

Reall Cheap product
Tom from Ontario on 6/12/2013
This product quality is terrible compared to the metra radio kit that hold your aftermarket radio in the stock location. This looked and felt like a cheap radio kit from the late 80s. Texture and color did not match. The bottom mounting holes in front located below th pocket are useless. They should be used to install screws to bolt it to the car. However when you take the stock pocket out it takes out the clips that the screws would screw into. So basically your stuck with it being attached by th upper supports and the bottom is just resting on the car. After paying some $$$ for the upper kit it would off been nice if they could build this pocket a liitle better.
Pros: It covered the hole in the dash of my 2005 Honda Accord since i was not able to use the stock pocket with the upper after market radio kit
Cons: This much for this junk??? They should of thrown it in free since I bought the upper kit at almost $125. and a letter saying sorry but this all what they made for your car.
