Great looking dash kit
Hannah from Brookston, IN on 1/21/2022
2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
This is a pretty decent dash kit. It looks great, almost makes my stereo look like it's a stock head unit! I would give this five stars, but the instructions supplied from Metra are a bit confusing. I didn't know the dash kit wouldn't work with the trim ring that came with my new stereo. I essentially had to build my dash kit around the stereo. I screwed the side pieces on first to the head unit, removed the stock trim that came with the stereo, then snapped on the front trim that came with the dash kit. It is a perfect fit, it's perfectly flush with the stereo display. Like I said, the instructions are a bit odd, but it's a great looking dash kit once it's together!
Pros: Great fit, looks stock
Cons: Directions aren't the best

The dash kit was great and fit perfect. Everything was easy to put in. The only reason for not 5 Stars is because I can't use the steering wheel control adapter with it. The radio was not on the list for the programming of the device. Reached out to the company who manufactured it and they can't help me.
Pros: Great fit
Cons: Wasted money on steering controls I can't use

I had to take a file to one of the side brackets to make it fit the faceplate. They missed it by about an 8th of an inch. Otherwise the color match was good
Pros: Color match ok
Cons: Had to use a file to make assembly possible

This worked well although the injection molding left a little to be desired. I had to trim where the front locked into the ear.
Pros: Worked well
Cons: Needed a bit of fitting

Our car had the silver fascia. Matches pretty well in color, but paint defects kind of detract. I wish the brackets were metal. Seems that the fascia plate is off -center to the left. Why not allow us to use the metal brackets that are on the factory radio?

The dash kit fits great and matches the plastic on my car ('07 Hyundai Santa Fe). Gave this four stars just because it feels a bit flimsy compared to the metal supports the original radio had, but it works as expected.

I have used three of these on our cars. A Chevy Avalanche, Chevy HHR SS, and a Hyundai Santa Fe . I will give the HHR kit 5 stars(perfect fit), and the Avalanche and Santa Fe 3 stars...the fit on these two is not as good HHR and need improvement.

Nice adapter/kit. Would be more confident in its durability if it was metal or at least a thicker plastic, but everything fit together well and I just added extra screws to the brackets to be safe when securing the receiver. Luckily the receiver is just a digital media player and is not too heavy. Fit in the dash perfect and looks very nice with the rest of the center console (the silver color matched well).

Factory install look!
John from Jacksonville, FL on 1/28/2017
2011 Hyundai Santa Fe
These guys must have access to a huge database of engineering drawings for all car models and radio bolt patterns! This install kit with mounting brackets and trim, allowed my radio install to look absolutely like factory equipment.
Pros: Easy install. Matches all the factory mounting bolt patterns on the radio and car dash. Trim color matches my factory dash color 100%.
Cons: The plastic mounts may break if you are not careful when/if laying the radio on the seat or if you hit something while moving the radio into the dash, or if you over tighten the bolts. I did not break mine... just saying.

Needs improvement
Richard from Baytown, Tx on 12/25/2016
2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
Front Face plate is very thin and cheaply designed. It's really thin on the top and bottom and thin all the way around the frames diameter. Please be very careful handling this toothpick when installing. The radio brackets that hold the head unit in place are very flexible and cheaply designed as well. These should be metal in my opinion so they can handle vehicle vibration better. I'm only giving a 2 out of 5 for these 2 different items however I really want to give them a 1 out of 5. Being generous for the Christmas season. Please handle these items like there pieces of glass because they really are that fragile.
Pros: Can't think of any pros. Maybe... Glad the silver color matches the vehicles interior surrounding the radio basel. Trying to be positive here so I'm grasping at straws a little.
Cons: Thin and cheaply put together materials. Very easy to break. Handle with extreme care... Fragile Not worth the extra cost in my opinion. Go with whichever factory face plate that comes with the radio.

This install kit fits perfectly. If there is a con (which there isn't) it's that the silver does not match perfectly with the dash - but you have to squint at it to tell.
Pros: Easy install, perfect fit

Nice fitting piece for Santa Fe
BobS from New Hampshire on 12/27/2015
2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
This piece ensures a nice fit between the new radio and the existing SantaFe dash. Looks great!
Pros: Perfect fit. Looks great!
Cons: This piece is plastic so I was very careful when installing it. The original radio piece was metal. This might not be a problem at all, and a metal pieces would have probably been more expensive, but it made me slow down during installation (not a bad thing!)

Hyundai Sante Fe Dash Trim
Bill from Ohio on 2/18/2015
Absolutely essential to making an aftermarket stereo look like it was factory equipped.
Pros: Face plate was a perfect match in color and fit to the car. No trimming and when in perfect.
Cons: Side plates are a somewhat flexible plastic. Not sure how durable it will be compared to the steel brackets from the old stereo. But, they did fit perfectly so would still give this unit a thumbs up.
