Metra 99-3015G Dash Kit

Kit fits the bill. The fit is about 95%, there are a few places that it's not 100%, but it doesn't look bad.

Not sure if it's the shape of my dash or this install kit but my Alpine Halo9 faces the passenger more than the driver. Give an off axis view. Didn't see anyway to angle the touchscreen over. Also the dash piece that snaps on top isn't flush with the rest. 2015 Chevy Suburban.

The kit was fine. It did what it was supposed to do. It left an odd shallow pocket though. I decided to get a different kit that looked more like it was OE rather than aftermarket or afterthought.

Looks really good. Almost has a factory look to it
Pros: Easy to put together and install.
Cons: If you need to access stereo, plastic clips on top of dash kit break while attempting to remove them.

I give the the Metra 99-3015G Dash Kit one star overall, but one extra star for at least producing the kit. It seems that not many companies are making accessories for the 2015/16 Tahoe... yet. The single star rating goes for the cheapness of the product. The three clips that holds the top trim piece in-place broke the first time I had to dissemble my install. Every single plastic clip broke even though I was extremely careful prying off the trim piece. To Metra's credit, they did send me replacement clips, but only after interrogating me - going as far as wanting me to take pictures of the broken clips. Really? Like I'd go out of my way to ask for three little plastic clips if I hadn't broken them. Come on Metra! Anyway... I also didn't like blank pocket where it provides the ability to install the Axxess AX-LCD. I installed the AX-LCD in my center console and thus had this horrible pocket that did nothing but collect dust. Long story short, I ended up removing the Metra kit and replaced it with the a different brand - one that was a bit more expensive, but a much better quality product.
Pros: Inexpensive Available
Cons: Cheap Broke the clips the first time I had to remove it
