Thank you for the great price, fast shipping and unbelievable pairing of the harness to the radio for my Caddy. As an 87 year old stone ax carrier I have to attest that you made a simple job of the bunch of wires involved. Reminds me of changing from Injection to carb on my 02 Ultra. The radio look and sounds fantastic despite an inexpensive set.

The kit worked exactly as advertised. Fit nice clean and tight in my 2009 CTS with digital amp. Make sure and check the code in the trunk under the spare tire cover to understand if you have analog, digital or no amplifier. If there was one critique it might be the color of the nav popup cover I think it would look nicer if that piece was black maybe, but would be easy enough to paint if it bothered me enough. Other than that everything worked great and looks nice. I used the cigarette lighter port and PAC USBDMA6 for the usb input for android auto and added the Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Adapter which was easy enough and worth it to add .

Defective Circuit Board

The kit fits Cadillac 2009 CTS beautifully and looks like OEM. However, within a couple weeks a defective internal short in Metra's circuit board in the radio installation kit caused a failure of the HVAC control unit and cost me ADDITIONAL money for diagnostic & labor for warrantied part reinstallation/wiring. The Kit was replaced by Crutchfield under the 1 year warranty, but as a result of Metra's defective circuit board I ended paying double for the install--almost as much as the entire AV System upgrade. Proceed with caution on this kit.

Cadillac CTS Kit

Fit was great, looks fantastic, color match was perfect, and instructions were adequate. The only thing that could have been better was the instructions if you were using multiple pieces like the steering wheel controls as well as the harness for the car. They were a little lacking.

Quality product

Overall great fit. Bezel matches my CTS interior perfectly. I had to file the bracket a bit to get a good fit, but this was not a big deal. Wiring diagram was a bit daunting, but Crutchfield helped me out.

Good fitment and quality. The instructions are detailed but can be confusing at times. Would be nice to see a straight line diagram for the electrical connections rather than descriptions for the wire connections.

Made the job very simple!!! Had no issues whatsoever!!! Metro did a great job engineering this product!!! One suggestion would be to insert a cubby hole/junk box in the middle where the stereo switches are. After change out, the switches are left just to fill the hole but are inoperable... They need to go away and put a box in their place!!!

Awesome enhancement to a stock system!

Overall the kit was good for my vehicle and the installation of the radio physical was sound. The confusion came between the radio harness and the metra harness connections. To add since I had steering wheel controls I had to de-cypher that wiring along with the other two harnesses. Like I said confusing but do-able, I do recommend a professional to install this because of the tedious work involved.

The only option to upgrade my 2008 Cadillac CTS

This kit gave me the opportunity to upgrade my 2008 CTS to a more current head unit. Parts are nice but the head units available are pretty much worthless. This product does exactly what it is supposed to, beware the products that it is supposed to house...
