The 16 pin harness that came with the kit. But crutchfield was quick to getting me a replacement. The kit looks great!

Great product. Pretty simple to install with all the instructions you get from Crutchfield. Digital climate control works great also.

Good stuff

Expensive but worth it. The instructions that come with the Crutchfield order are top notch as always. Had a quick question. Called up support and had it politely answered very shortly. The kit is high quality. Fit well. Looks factory. Obviously, it retains all the factory buttons and options. You can use the touch screen or use the buttons. I thought it was pretty cool. For a double din you have to trim the middle bar off. No biggie. The only thing I'd add is to NOT trim the middle bar off flush with the bracket. Or else the brackets that hold your double din won't be able to grab and "lock in" if that makes sense. Trim it like so.

Nice looking unit, instructions need help

Metra needs to hire Crutchfield to write their installation instructions. Crutchfield has pictures with arrows and step by step instructions that make it easy and fun. Metra's instructions are vague, confusing and sometimes incorrect. The dash pieces are high quality. It made the dash look much more modern with a nice quality touch screen to control the heating and air conditioning.

The Metra Kit is fantastic - 5 stars

Please note the actual Metra deash kit is 5 stars. It looks great and blends well with the OEM dash. We bought this along with a new Kenwood deck and all of the recommeded wiring harnesses. My son and I worked diligently for hours and we could not get the unit to power up. I ended up calling it to avoid further frustration. I rented a car and dropped mine off at an installer. They were on the phone hours reprogramming the unit and got it installed by next morning. I paid more to get great equipment from Crutchfield and must say I am disappointed. It costed me another $200 to get it installed plus the car rental.

We're sorry you had trouble getting this Metra interface going. AJ, a Crutchfield Tech Support guru, helped us figure this one out. Once connected, this piece must be initialized in a specific sequence to activate it. This is covered on page 13 of the interface's owner's manual. And, of course, you have lifetime tech support for all items you purchase from Crutchfield.
