Great fit
George from Dallas, PA on 11/21/2018
Perfect fit. My only knock was that I couldn't remove the detachable faceplate from the receiver after I installed it with this unit. I probably should've removed the trim plate that came with the receiver first as I was advised by Crutchfield tech support but I tried that and I thought it looked better with both trim plates installed- the one on the receiver and the one on this unit. If you leave both trim plates on, there Is no bare metal showing so you get a cleaner look. I am not all that worried about removing the faceplate. If I change my mind later on, it shouldn't be too hard to reverse this.
Pros: Great fit
Cons: Can't remove detachable faceplate when receiver's trim plate is installed.

Good for 08 Elantra

08 Elantra. Fit well with fairly quick install. A new cubby appeared where one did not exist previously. That is super convenient to put the USB stick(s) when you're not using them. And then forget they're there. :-)
Pros: Quick fit Added cubby

Easy installation
Sandy from Pearl City, HI on 11/26/2017
Made installing a new car receiver in my grandson's car easy, everything fit, instructions were clear, he did it all himself. Crutchfield makes it easy by including everything you need and suggesting what you may need. You just have to know what kind of vehicle you have. Even talked online to an associate there and they were so helpful!
Pros: All that you need.

99% of the time I have no issue with these types of mounts. This one installed with out issue as well. For me this might be nit picking but the head unit in this sits kinda far in and leave about half inch from the bottom left face of the mount to the unit. The pocket also is squished in middle allowing you to see into the space under the head unit.

Fits well and installs easy but plastic is easily broken
Steven from FL on 4/30/2017
2009 Hyundai Elantra
Mount leaves some small gaps in the trim where the factory volume and preset dials used to be, but I'm not really that picky about it. If I wanted a really super clean and tight install I wouldn't have used the free kit provided by Crutchfield. I'm giving two stars because the frame on the top left corner snapped clean while I was working out the fit of the mounts before the actual install. No idea what actually broke it. It's not like a used a tool to jam something in and I didn't hit it on some thing or drop it. The top right corner also cracked but didn't break off completely. A little super glue, epoxy, and Gorilla tape held everything together and the factory trim hides it all so no harm no foul, but this is something the next customer should definitely be aware of. I did not have problems others have had with my receiver sitting too far back. Buttons and ports are all easily accessible. I installed using the ISO method and it seems secure.
Pros: Fits to spec. Instructions are easy to follow.
Cons: Plastic is very flimsy. Leaves gaps in the dash.

Metra 99-7326 Dash Kit
Ryan from St Louis, MO on 11/7/2016
2010 Hyundai Elantra
Adequate for the application, though lacking in finish. Fit the car perfectly, but the radio sits back from the trim making access to small buttons on the radio difficult. Included bezel leaves gaps on top and bottom of radio, that are very apparent and not equal. Bottom gap is double that of the top gap making the finished appearance look sloppy.
Pros: Fit the car well, including the goofy little cut outs in the trim that surrounded the factory radio knobs. Sturdy.
Cons: Leaves unsightly gaps around radio, radio is set back from trim, inside the pocket was heavily scratched from factory which can be seen when everything is installed.

It worked okay
Doug from New Jersey on 10/23/2015
It worked okay. It fit the dash fine. I used the mount from the radio after modifying the DIN mount to accept the frame tabs for the kit. The included plastic ISO mounts did not hold the unit firmly enough. And this was for a reduced size media player. No disc drive. I think the added weight of a full unit would have made the ISO tabs completely useless. Also, the finish frame leaves a bit of a gab around the installed radio, but it is not too bad. I wish the 'pocket' underneath did not come with slots cut into the back. If I wanted to run cables through there, I could have drilled a hole. As it was, I covered the slots so that nothing can slip out of the pocket behind the dash.
Pros: Easy to install. Fit the dash cutout well.
Cons: A little flimsy. The slots in the dash pocket portion detract from the value.

Metra 99-7326 Dash Receiver Kit
Hyundai Elantra Owner from Pennsylvania on 7/28/2015
Fit well into the dashboard, but not quite as well with the radio unit.
Pros: Nice looking when installed.
Cons: Terrible instructions about how to attach the radio to the unit, with no explanation about the two options--using the brackets that came with the radio or the ones that came with this kit. I had to call and even then had to puzzle most of it out myself.

Less than OK
Crutchfield customer from Ohio on 7/14/2014
2007 Hyundai Elantra
Item arrived broken, immediate replacement sent by Crutchfield. Thank you. However, the part is extremely weak between the receiver spot and lower pocket. Also, two mounting options for deck, first is the cage that comes with the receiver and second way is tabs that come with the kit. The tabs are worthless, radio pops out. In addition, radio sits extremely far back into the dash, use of buttons is difficult.
Pros:
Cons: Weak constructon, poor dash fit, poor radio fit, tab mounting option is useless, finishing bezel requires finness to install, overall below expectation. Have used this brand kit before.

2008 Hyundai Elantra GLS
Francois from Greeley, CO on 4/12/2012
When I first got my Hyundai, I was excited about the aux jack in the tray in front of the gear shifter. After a few months the Aux port lost it's allure and I was convinced the stereo was a peice of crap and asked about it at the local dealership. Every dealer told me they could order a different dash that would allow me to install an after-market stereo. They cautioned me it would be about $200. after prioritizing this for a while I finally got around to wanting to order it. I got the runaround and finally had to call Hyundai Headquarters to get the response that they only made the one type of dash. I saw some kits that were a joke and finally got to crutchfield. This thing is awesome! my only issue is that they should have had some kind of padding between the top tray and the hooks when it came the hooks were bent and had stress cracks in the plastic. luckily it's a solid mother so it turned out being OK. I put some superglue in the cracks just in case and slapped it into my car. it looks just like it should and it even recesses the stereo a little bit so that it has a stock installed effect. I thought I would hate the pocket, but it's actually come in handy holding my phone while attached to the stereo for GPS, and holding a full CD case for a new purchase! I've gotten tons of compliments on it especially from friends who saw ths stock stereo and now see the new stereo.
Pros: EVERYTHING: easy to install, it's MADE for my car and fits like a glove!
Cons: stress cracks during shipping, but it's tough, so it wasn't a big deal. the plastic is a little warped so the part that separates the pocket from the face is a little off. one really hot day and a clamp or a paint remover and a clamp and it will be fine!

This is a nice dash kit and fits my 2009 Elantra perfectly. The only thing i don't like about it is that I wish it didn't have the pocket. I think it would look better if it was just a solid piece of plastic. Who has CDs anymore to store in there and nothing else fits.
