2001 Infiniti I30
Kit is a little flimsy, and tedious to assemble. Color match to OEM A/C controls and vents are not exact. Kit color is about two shades a darker grey. Fit of radio face panel is good with the inner trim panel not locking completely tight.
Pros: Still available for 23 year old car
Cons: Fit and finish not the best overall.

Kit is a good replacement. Not crazy its all plastic, but it works. Color is close enough for a decent match on the I35. Didn't fit well with 7" Blaupunkt touch screen. Had to modify to make it work.
Pros: Easy to work with, multiple options
Cons: All plastic Didn't fit with 7" unit

It was mostly easy to put together. The instructions were understandable for the most part, but it definitely left some details out that you had to think for yourself when deviating from the single din instructions they put.
Pros: Fit perfectly. Looks very similar to factory design. Mostly easy to put together.
Cons: Instructions weren't as helpful for double din set up Made out of plastic instead of metal.

Trim piece that goes around the unit did not fit. Also, directions for removing the trim around the shift knob were not correct for an Infiniti I35 and I ended up breaking a piece.

Great product fits nice and flush. Gave it some spray paint to look uniform with my dash.
Pros: Flush fit Strong Plastic
Cons: Needed to buy some screws for mounting the radio but no big deal

Pros: Bolts up and pretty secure.
Cons: Not the same contour and color as the factory deck or the rest of the dash.

Everything works great until you go to install the media player and the din sleeve has nowhere for the tabs to securely press against, so there would be no support for the head unit, it would bounce all around while driving...checked the "revised" install brackets and doesn't fit into the opening awesome. It gets one star because it's at least the right color. Ended up plasti welding everything together for strength then dremeling out size for din sleeve now looks like it should...bottom line garbage for single din install...can't speak for double din but I'm sure it is just as bad.
Pros: Correct color.
Cons: Poor fitment, lots of warpage in plastic for compartment under single din, holes in the compartment for small things to fall through.
