Amazing kit for Aftermarket Radio Install

Everything was neatly packaged and installation was straight forward. The kit has many harnesses for all factory setups, I used the harness that is for replacing head unit with Integrated Bose and Navigation. Of course it has a few extra steps but this kit is streamlined to make your install much easier. I used a double din head unit as my replacement with no major issues, slight modifications are needed with my Pioneer unit requiring me to shave a plastic brace to fit unit easily, but 30 second job. I retained factory HVAC controls and backup camera, no issues with black screens or intermittent controls as some have reported. Works flawless for a 08 Nissan Pathfinder.

Since installing the kit, my fuel gauge has been off and I have had to turn off the back up camera to keep factory screen from blacking out. It looks great and for the most part works well.

HVAC functions do not work

This kit is terrible none of the HVAC controls work.

Something about it is not working.

Like another reviewer, after installing, none of the three replacement climate control panels worked or even lit up, so I'm stuck on defrost as the last setting I used. Also, the in-dash screen will not work, and neither will the backup camera. I followed instructions diligently and triple checked my work. This is the 6th stereo I've installed in a car so I'm not a newbie, but this Nissan system is incredibly complicated and there's so many wires and parts involved in this Metra kit, so many opportunities for something to go wrong. I called Crutchfield support. Sal was amazing and spent 2 hours on the phone with me on the video chat app looking over every wire and walking through the installation instructions step by step with me. I suspect either the replacement HVAC panel or the black Axxess box is malfunctioning. I may have to ask Crutchfield for some replacement parts from Metra.

I just had a shop do an install and none of the A/c Components work. The shop will be calling to attempt to resolve issue
