Bob Bihlmayer

Metra 99-7627HG

You bought a 2013-16 Nissan Pathfinder — great car, but its console makes it impossible to upgrade the factory radio. The Metra 99-7627HG dash and wiring kit allows you to install an aftermarket single- or double-DIN receiver in the Pathfinder's dash panel, while maintaining full use of the 4" screen in your dash.

Features

Vehicle Compatibility: The Metra 99-7627HG installation package allows you to replace your 2013-up Nissan Pathfinder's factory radio (with color screen) with an aftermarket stereo while retaining important factory features.

Double or Single DIN Dash Kit: The 99-7627HG's dash kit has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture and paint of your Nissan Pathfinder's factory dash panels. The dash kit will support installation of a single-DIN or double-DIN aftermarket head unit. Single-DIN radios will mount with the included pocket. Double-DIN radios will mount without pocket.

Works In Factory Amplified & Non-Amplified Systems: The Metra 99-7627HG will work in 2013-up Nissan Pathfinders equipped with factory non-amplified audio systems & amplified audio systems, including Bose.

Built-In HVAC Controls: The included dash kit provides built-in, push-button HVAC controls. There are a total of 14 soft-touch, push-button controls.

Retains Factory Screen & Personalization Features: The Metra 99-7627HG allows you to retain your Pathfinder's factory in-dash vehicle settings LCD screen. The factory vehicle settings will be operated from the 99-7627HG's included keypad which provides 13 soft-touch, push-button controls.

Backup Camera Compatible: The Metra 99-7627HG will retain your Pathfinder's factory backup camera on the factory LCD screen. If your vehicle is not equipped with a factory backup camera, the 99-7627HG also lets you add an aftermarket backup camera through the use of a composite video jack (labeled "Backcam") that will display on the factory LCD screen. If you don't need a backup camera, the composite video jack can also be used to add an external video source and display video on the factory LCD screen (video will only function when vehicle is in "Park").

Note: There is a composite video jack labeled "From DVD" that will not be used and taped off.

Aux Input Retention: The 99-7627HG retains your Nissan Pathfinder's factory Aux input through the use of a set of male stereo RCA jacks (labeled "Aux Input") Your aftermarket stereo will need to be equipped with a rear-panel Aux input. If your aftermarket stereo's Aux input is 3.5mm minijack, then you will also need a minijack-to-RCA adapter (sold separately).

Note: There are stereo RCA jacks labeled "From DVD" that will not be used and taped off.

Optional Steering Wheel Control Adapter: The Metra 99-7627HG lets you retain your Pathfinder's factory steering wheel controls through the use of the Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control interface module (sold separately).

Navigation Outputs: The included wiring harness contains a Speed Sense wire and a Reverse wire to connect to your aftermarket navigation head unit, making installation easier and less time consuming.

Customer Q&A

2 questions already asked

Q
Will this still work if I put the factory screen at the bottom and my new aftermarket head unit at the top? My concern is looking down while using the navigation on the aftermarket head unit.

This Metra 99-7627HG dash kit mounts your new radio in the lower dash position, keeping your OEM screen in place. You cannot mount the OEM screen in a different location with this kit, and due to the complexity of your factory setup I would not advise modification of this kit or any parts. I hope this helps!

Q
I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, FOR MY NISSAN MURANO 2009. WILL IT FIT MY CAR?
[ MARIO  Sep 30, 2018 ]

Sorry, no. This package is made for compatible Pathfinder vehicles specifically. If you have the basic factory sound system (non-Bose), you maybe able to install an aftermarket stereo with the proper installation accessories. For additional assistance and personalized recommendations, feel free to contact us directly by phone or through our online chat service: https://www.crutchfield.com/support/ContactUs.aspx
