5 stars for both harnesses, two and a half stars for the one I used.

My biggest complaint is that this harness is so expensive, even when bundled with a head unit and other things. I found out why it is so expensive though: The kit is actually TWO harnesses. You use one or the other, then throw the other one away. It's quite wasteful. All they would have to do to fix this is give each harness it's own part number, and let me choose which one I need. It's not a mystery.. Oh wait, they DO have their own part numbers: LD-AX-XSVISP1 and LD-AX-XSVISP2. This is just laziness from the manufacturer, and appears to be a plan to sell more harnesses. It took me a week to talk myself into buying this due to the cost. The radio I used was $80, the harness kit was $87. There's no reason the harness should cost more than the radio, should have been $40-50 at most. It's all made in China. If I had more time I would have shopped around for another option, or repurpose the harness that came with the previous radio I was replacing, which is an all-in-one so you can use either/or and be done with it.

Pros: Works as expected.

Cons: Relatively expensive.

Worth the price

Purchased the Axxess harness to solve a problem I was having with radio install in my 2012 Sprinter van. Having done his type of thing in many of my previous cars and trucks, I felt more than capable of wiring a replacement radio. The tech reps from both Kenwood and Crutchfield recommended the harness as the solution, I thought it kind of pricey, but bit the bullet. When that didn't solve the problem, I messaged the Tech guys at Axxess and they were able to point me to the problem, it was an issue created by the wiring of the new front speakers with separate tweeters, although I followed one of two wiring directions in the instructions, it was displaying a error wiring message. problem solved, great product, great tech help.
