We are rather impressed with this surround sound receiver. Setup was easy and it's simple to use. We love how much better our surround sound is now when compared to the Onkyo system we had previously.

excellent unit. fairly easy set up.nice output power. i would have liked inputs as buttons on the front panel instead of the selector wheel and labeled as 1 thru 4, not blue ray, game, cable and set top box. also the remote should have numbered inputs instead of the named inputs. my inputs don't match the markings. i have a vcr/dvd with the dvd output plugged into the blue ray input ! some of the speaker connections are press and pinch type. sometimes not all the fine wire strands get into the pinch mechanism. i would have preferred all banana jacks with my banana plugs. it would also be nice if the unit could detect the speaker impedance / resistances and self adjust or ask to confirm the settings. improper settings can damage the unit.

WOW. Awesome unit. Does exactly what i need it to do and also looks impressive. It replaced a Denon AVT1713
