JL Audio puts months of research and design into each Stealthbox® custom-fit subwoofer to ensure not only that it fits, but that it sounds better than any other custom enclosed system. First, JL Audio determines the ideal shape and mounting location for each enclosure, so that it looks like an original part of the vehicle it's designed for. Next, they mount each high-performance subwoofer so it delivers amazing firepower from within its unique enclosure, without sacrificing clarity or musical depth.
The fiberglass enclosure offers superior rigidity while allowing more interior volume, so the sub can turn out louder, deeper bass. JL Audio craftsmen then laminate, grind, join, and finish each Stealthbox® by hand. The end result: full-bodied, distortion-free bass from an impressively stealthy enclosure.

This Stealthbox® enclosure fits installs into the driver's side hatch storage compartment of the 2014-up Chevrolet C7 Corvette Coupe. This Stealthbox® includes one 10TW3-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure from JL Audio, wired for 2-ohm mono. The included steel-mesh grille protects the subwoofer. JL Audio has rated the difficulty of this Stealthbox® installation as low. You should be able to install this enclosure if you have any experience with car audio.
Use of driver's side rear-storage compartment is lost with installation. Storage compartment lid must be removed for installation, but can be replaced if Stealthbox® is removed. Will not fit convertible model.

Overview: JL Audio's SB-GM-C7CP1/10TW3 Stealthbox has been specifically designed to fit select 2014 - up Chevrolet Corvette Coupe models. It features a single 10" 10TW3-D4 subwoofer in a custom sealed enclosure that mounts in the driver's side hatch storage compartment.

Subwoofers: The JL Audio Stealthbox's 10" 10TW3-D4 subwoofer offers a powerful combination of a shallow mounting depth and high excursion capability, producing deep powerful bass from a small enclosure. The single dual 4 ohm voice-coil subwoofer is wired for a 2 ohm output to a single set of terminals, and is capable of handling up to 400 watts RMS. A steel mesh grill is provided for protecting the driver.
Enclosure: The Stealthbox sealed enclosure is made from fiberglass and finished in automotive black carpet. The enclosure has been configured to mount in the driver's side hatch storage compartment with no mounting hardware or drilling involved, making the subwoofer easy to install and remove if needed. The installation does not affect storage of the targa-top.
Note: Use of the driver's side storage compartment will be lost with installation. The storage compartment lid must be removed for installation, but can be replaced if the Stealthbox is removed. Will not work with convertible models.

This Stealthbox hits hard, sounds great, and fits perfect! Drops down into the left side cubby and stays in place, even during spirited driving. Running it with a JL 500/3V2 which supplies it with 300 watts.
