Great Little Speaker at a Great Price

Dropped these into my 2025 Subaru Forester. A big improvement to the stock dash tweeters and the crossover fits in a small space off to the side of the speakers. If you don't feel comfortable snipping off the wire harness connector, there are adapter harnesses available from other retailers or order the Posi-Product Tap-It T-connectors from Crutchfield.

Good sound but need more JL Speakers

These speakers do sound better than my stock 2025 Camry speakers and are a nice upgrade for the cost. I really need to change the door speakers before I can really evaluate them. With a good amp and full set of JL audio speakers I am sure it would sound great.

Big sound improvement

Looks like a quality product on examination. Haven't had a chance to install yet, but I am sure it will be a significant improvenent over the stock dash speakers. I haven't yet been disappointed by Critchfield going back many years.

Great mid

Swapped out my 2025 Toyota Camry mids which come with the 9 speaker JBL system. These sound so much better! The stock mids are flat. These are crisp. Love them. Be advised that the wiring harness (Metra 72-8110) that comes with these does not work with the 9 speaker system! You will need the metra 72-8109 harness I will post pics so you can see what I mean. Thanks again Crutchfield.

2022 Grand Cherokee L JL Audio Upgrade

So I've been a fan of JL Audio since high school (now 45) but have also purchased and used other high end brands like Morel, Focal, Alpine, etc. I have to say JL is my favorite, and this small upgrade to my new Jeep Grand Cherokee L with the Alpine system just cements those feelings! The factory Alpine system isn't bad if one didn't know better, but sounded muffled in the front stage and lacking clarity/highs. I'm in the process of upgrading the entire system, and thought I could use these as an active midrange but maybe they will improve the factory system in the meantime.?? I swapped out the L/R and center channel (wired parallel in factory setup) locations in the dash.. Boy was I right! BIG improvement in clarity and overall sound as well as performance! Forget about the ohm difference, if you have factory 3.5" mid-tweets do not hesitate on these! Can't wait until I put a little power to them in a 4 way active front stage with JL's C6 line being pushed by my XDM 800/8 and tuned with a Helix Ultra, with C3's as rear fill and a 10-W6 being pushed by another XDM 1000/5! 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Limited Replacements.

Got these for a replacement dash speakers in my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Limited with the Harmon Kardon system. They fit perfectly and sound even better than the Harmon Kardon speakers. Note: The StarLink system in Subaru's does not like crossovers and will cause the system to error, so no need to connect them . Crutchfield also does not carry adapters, but you can remove the factory connection from the speakers really easy and adapt them to the JL speakers. Also happy that Crutchfield got them to me a day early. You can't go wrong with JL and Crutchfield.

Good frequency range, solid speakers

Used these to replace the factory dash speakers in my Lexus Es350. I'm running these off the factory amplifier, definitely an upgrade over the factory speakers, mids are smoother, these pay high enough that I don't want a tweeter. These should only sound better when I get my aftermarket amp and dsp installed.

Solid 3.5" Midrange

Bought these for my 2016 Jeep Renegade. I didn't want anything too harsh up in the dash and these are perfect. You get great midrange coverage and acceptable highs. It's not too harsh on the upper end. The midrange is where this speaker excels. You get great range from this 3.5" speaker.
