Bought open box deal for the slight discount on an expensive speaker. Condition was new and worth the discount. Havnt finished my install yet but overall build quality is superb. Excited to get these things jamming.

SQ is awesome.

JL knocked it outta the park with the C7's

All I can say is wow! I have purchased these and the C7 3.5's are next, then the tweeter's And I cannot wait, they are expensive, but for an audiophile like myself there worth the money, to me there isn't any better, nothing compares, the bass these speakers produce is amazing, if your looking to hear each instrument that's being played in the music your listening to these will do the job, but of course you must have the right power source for them to be connected to, if not then don't waste the money they are very professional speakers. One may say there ridiculously expensive and never hear them, and if only they knew what they are missing, in my opinion of course... being ran active with the right set-up is imperative!

Great investment

I researched all top of the line speakers and heard most of them in similar truck environments. All but hertz basically. While it is such personal preference what I can inform you is that they perform as described and sound absolutely phenomenal. The pairing with their tweeter and vxi amps have created an unbelievably truly pristine sounding system. Extreme power handling and insane clarity. Strong mid bass. From a music perspective I listen to everything. Literally. From classic rock to old and current hip hop to blues and folk. If you are shopping in this price category I don't know how you could be disappointed. While I love Crutchfield I did not purchase the item directly simply because of pricing and need for custom installation. It was cost ineffective to purchase at retail and pay installer.
