Scosche's ITCFD05B dash kit allows you to install a single-DIN (2" tall) or double-DIN (4" tall) car stereo in your 2015-up Ford Mustang while retaining your steering wheel audio controls. You'll also keep your aux input if you're installing a radio with a rear aux input, and you'll retain your Ford's backup cam if your new radio has a camera input. The dash kit also features a full-color touchscreen with full climate controls, including air conditioning, fan, direction of airflow, and front and rear defrost. An included harness connects directly to the Mustang's climate control wiring, so no splicing is required.
The dash kit is a perfect match for the texture and contours of your dash, and it comes in a matte black finish. The kit only retains steering wheel controls with car stereos that feature a steering wheel control input. The included harness also supplies all connections needed for a navigation receiver.
Important Installation Note: You'll have to make major modifications to install a new car stereo, including cutting into your sub-dash frame.

The dash kit accommodates a single-DIN mount head unit with included pocket, or a Double-DIN mount stereo without the pocket. This dash kit has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture, contour, and paint of your factory panels.
Note: Major modification is required for installation; part of the sub-dash frame must be cut and removed to create space.
Integrated Touchscreen Control: The Scosche ITCFD05B's dash kit features a built-in advanced color touchscreen control system that replaces the factory climate, convenience, and personalization controls built into the OEM factory radio. This solution provides improved ergonomics while adding touchscreen capabilities unique to this system. It retains full climate control, controls for heated seats (if equipped), steering wheel control setup, and other vehicle settings. You can manually adjust the brightness of LCD touchscreen, or set the brightness to a Day, Night, or Auto mode.

Retained Factory Camera & Aux Input: The Scosche ITCFD05B retains your vehicle's factory backup camera through its composite video jack and your aftermarket radio's camera input. It also provides retention of your vehicle's factory Aux input. To retain the vehicle's factory Aux input, your aftermarket head unit must have a rear-panel Aux input (male mini-to-female stereo RCA adapter may be required, sold separately).
Navigation Outputs: The Scosche ITCFD05B provides wired outputs for navigation radio installation; including a VSS (vehicle speed sense), Parking Brake, and a Reverse Gear output to make installing an aftermarket navigation head unit simpler and less time consuming.
Wiring Harness: The included wiring harness contains the following bare wire leads which will need to be hardwired to your aftermarket radio and vehicle.
