Did not fit for my application

This kit is listed as the correct trim option for a 2003 Honda Pilot. If you are installing in the top bay (replacing a nav unit) it does NOT fit (lower bay may be fine). You'll need the Metra unit instead. Not much to say as I ended up not using this, although it looks to be as good quality and the trim matches the original plastic/color/texture of my pilot.

Does not work for 07 honda Pilot with Nav.

Don't get if you had Nav. Does not work. The Metra 99-7819 kit works which Crutchfield didn't have when I searched.

My negative review is not an assessment of the quality of the kit but rather that it did not fit my 2004 Honda Pilot LX as advertised. The supplied trim piece was too small to fill the original display space and the supplied radio pocket was also too small. The Metra 95-7861 kit fit without a problem and I used original Honda radio pockets which fit after some modifications. I should also add that my install was not a simple head unit replacement so this kit might have worked if I just replaced the head unit in its original location instead of moving to the space formerly occupied by my nav display. According to the instructions, it should have fit in both locations.

Bad Fit

Absolutely does not fit 2008 Honda pilot with navigation. Left a big gap around bezel. Will be returning. Also forces you to keep the stock radio in the lower portion of the dash stack. Crutchfield needs to find a new trim kit to use for vehicles such as this. I ended up ordering a Metra 99-7819 trim kit.

Radio brackets fit perfect but the additional spacer/pocket doesn't fit well. Too thin leaving space at the top and bottom. I need to find the stock spacer.

2007 Pilot without NAV

Fits the 2006-2008 Pilot WITHOUT NAV. It may also work for the 03-05 with NAV but this is the part that worked to replace the 6-CD changer in my 2007 Pilot EX-L.
