Great amp

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I purchased this amp along with 6.5 SONYes speakers ( front and rear) for my 2024 Chevy Silverado. the installation was relatively smooth the hardest part is concealing the wires from under the dash to under the back seat.I have crystal clear sound even at higher volumes..and it will blow the doors off .I like the fact that this amp auto turns on when it detects the high level speakers input . (2 or 3less wire to run ) there are all kinds of filters and settings for any application you may need for your listening pleasure..I have had other SONY auto amps in cars never had any problems they seem rock solid.
Pros:
Cons: The only con on this installation is that when you car warnings bells and boops go off they are at a loud volume.this has nothing to do with the amp..and have been this way on all the upgrades I have made on my vehicles

Sony XM-4ES in 2020 Tundra Crewmax Non-JBL

I've installed this amp under the front passenger seat in my 2020 Toyota Tundra Crewmax with the non-JBL amplified audio system, and it's great. I'm feeding the amp with speaker outputs from the factory head unit. The amp is powering Alpine S2 component series speakers in the front (6x9) and rear (6.5). I'm also using the line outs on the amp to feed a mono Alpine amplifier powering a Kicker 48TCWRT102 subwoofer installed behind the rear seats. Couldn't be happier. Just received my Kickey KeyLOC and am excited to see how much better this system can get.
Pros: Plenty of clean power, multiple connection options, multiple signal path options, reasonable price.
Cons: None thus far.

Tons of power from this little amp! I'm powering the Sony Mobile ES XS-162ES 6.5 component set up front and two Sony XS-160ES 6.5 coaxials in the rear doors. This amp really gets the maximum performance out of these speakers!
Pros: Tons of power, very efficient. Small footprint.

After trying a comparable JBL and Pioneer amp with similar power ratings, neither one of them match what this Sony is capable of when you really start to lean on it. The louder it gets, the better it sounds. I have it hooked up to 4 Infinity Kappa Perfect components in my car and I couldn't be happier so far. I have yet to experience any clipping or heat issues even after playing at high volume for 1+ hours.
