These are such a great upgrade from my previous speakers in my truck. These have a good high and low end. They have responsive bass with no distortion at reasonable volume levels. Definitely recommend these for 80's and 90's ford trucks.

Good speakers for the size and price

For the price and size, these sound really good. This is what would easily for my vehicle and match the size of the OEM speakers. As expected, the sound and tonality of these Sony speakers over the OEM is night and day difference. The Sony speakers sound more bright and have a deeper bass. I can hardly wait for my amp and sub to arrive to add those to the mix and get the ideal wattage and crossover.

Continues Sony's Greatness

This is another review (As I recently reviewed the front speakers) Again these are awesome speakers that are way better than the OEM ones I had) But this time I want to give a huge shoutout to Crutchfield. The car we have can be hard to find parts for, but the Crutchfield system made it super easy to find the right parts, their sizes, brands and so much more. They genuinely seem to be a smaller company that cares and it shows. The fact that they give you a free wiring harness is a nice bonus. The instructions are a cool help. Again I am surprised they had them for our car. Unfortunately, I am not a very hands-on guy so I had to go to a local shop to get them done. But it was worth it all of the speaker products came out great and I helped the local business economy. If I need any sort of help or products for any of my cars in the future I now know where to go. Again thanks, Crutchfield!
Pros: Much better than old OEM speakers 100x better than cheap speakers from other retailers.
Cons: When buying all 4 can get a bit pricey (but if buying just one then definitely not a con lol)

Nice improvement over oem speakers, my old speakers didn't show any damage but the sound was a little flat, with the new Sony XS-680GS I have just a better sound in all ranges, Troy's help was great
