Worth the price

Paired these speakers with an Audio Control 4.300 amp. The sound and clarity is awesome as well as the power. The bass response is amazing for 6x9. The performance of these speakers is well worth the price.
Pros: Outstanding performance
Cons: None

Love the setup in my RAM 2021 front door/dash. Running an excelon 50w x 4 channel to them and rear doors powered with factory head unit. Rockford self powered enclosed 10 sub in rear under seat. AudioControl seems well made.

2023 Toyota Tacoma
2023 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab I had a gut feeling that these components would sound great and they did not disappoint me. The 6x9 woofer has giant magnets and has a clear dust cap with an etched metal logo within the voice coil cavity. Very nice touch. Pretty easy install. Woofers and their big magnets fit Tacoma's doors without any clearance issues/mods. The tweeters mounted easily in the dash with an adapter plate I got off Amazon. I have it powered by an Alpine S2-A55V 5 channel amp. Before you say that this amp is not big enough: I sent the front channel to the dash tweeters and the rear channel to the door mid woofers. This way I can better blend the speakers with the fader function and have plenty of juice for each speaker. I blocked-off (removed) the rear door speakers. The result: great imaging and sound stage! I also have a JL Stealth Box in the back. There are 2 crossovers for left and right. I put those under the seats. Woofer: the bass is punchy and the mids are very well fleshed out. Tweeter: there are 3 settings: 0, -3db, -6db. I initially set it to zero which initially sounded great. But that was during the first 1/2 hour of our 300 mile trip to Carmel. I ran it at -3db for the next 2 hours and that was bliss. Then for kicks I set it to -6db.which I initially did not like. But it has not been adjusted since. Plenty of detail at -6db but with this new added lushness from the blend into the midwoofer. It's perfect and not tiring after a long road trip.
Pros: Ability to contour the tweeter output. Huge magnet on the woofer. Great sounding crossovers.
Cons: Absolutely none
