I've been doing car audio for over 30 years and have had quite a few sub's in my time. it was time for a new set so i purchased a set of Rockford P3 10's from Crutchfield 6 months ago. they are great sub's but they required more air space than i could provide in my limited amount of space (2019 ram 1500 crew cab) so while sounding great they had problems going below 40-35ish. so 6 months ago i was hesitant to get the AC's because lack of objective reviews so I'll try to provide one. i replace all my ageing Rockford amp's. i now have three AC amps-1.1500,4.800 2.300 all great products so i took the leap and I'm glad i did. the recommended air space was on the spot for my ported box and the lows i was missing with the P3's are back with a vengeance almost to much. i had to retune my dsp because i had it set to try to get the notes i was missing with the Rockfords (again great woofer with the correct air space). the AC's don't have a fancy basket but neither do JL W3's which sound GREAT but are 400 a piece so for the price of one W3 i got a set of Spike 10's. they match my amps and just sound amazing in a proper ported enclosure. truly the correct air space is crucial with any subwoofer! prop's to Crutchfield on 2 day shipping that turned out to be 22 hour shipping. they are really the best online audio retailer hand's down. go ahead and get you some.....
Pros: don't need a large box to get LOW! sound great reasonable price
Cons: none for me

Great Sub for the price! Lows are amazing!

Great Sub Replacement for my 15 year old and cracked Alpine R2-W10D4 10" sub. Exceeded my expectations and sounds clean and goes nice and LOW (mind bending lows). I am using only one 10" sub in my 2017 Toyota Camry with the Alpine S2-A60M I think this match was made in heaven. Also, bought a Kicker Car Audio Converter RCA Stereo High To Low Adjustable Frequency Line Speaker Level Converter Adapter with Remote Line Sensing since I wanted to do an install without taking my dashboard apart. I thought this would sound bad but I am convinced it sounds great and was easy to install. I had to cut a little bit more out around the circumference of the hole that the Alpine R2 was in but I made quick work of it. Connections are nice and easy to use. Remember don't go cheap on your sub and get the Audio Control SPK series. Especially when using a 10" or smaller subwoofer you need a sub like this that can get nice and low so your not dropping out on the beautiful low end!
Pros: - Great bang for the buck with a 10" woofer getting down to the lows I enjoy. I don't think at this price point you can get anything else that has such a great curve down into the 20 hertz levels. -This thing also comes with a mesh cover that should keep it from getting banged up in the trunk like my R2 (so I like to have more than just subs in my trunk and now my sub has a defensive shell... love it!)
Cons: I am reaching here... The wire mesh cover was out of alignment. I did buy this one off the returns section so I expected flaws and this was the only problem I had where it wasn't aligned. Grabbed a needle nose pliers and pulled out the mesh at a few points and BOOM easy fix!
