3 sub box and needed a grill so the center sub would get damaged against the trunk.

Nice quality, heavy duty grill. Not sure about the install because the L7 12" I ordered is backordered with no estimated ship date. I solved the problem by going with the 10" 2ohm enclosure. I also purchased the grill so I will write up in the future.

Spray painted it red to match the kicker logo on sub. Looks awesome! Wish kicker would put out some more grills though. Did not need to buy longer screws with the 46tl7t122

Pros: Easy to install, protects from large items in trunk or provides air gap if placed behind a seat.

Cons: pricey for what your getting. Boring color

I added this grill to my Kicker 44VL7S122. The original M4 machine bolts were technically long enough to mount it but I purchased longer ones from my local hardware store.

Pros: Mounts easily and feels very sturdy. Metal.

Cons: More grey than I would prefer. Doesn't perfectly match the black esthetic of the Kicker 44VL7S122.

Sub box is on back seat of high traffic work truck, this lets me face the sub towards rear seat. Lots of added protection.

The grilles are ok looking, more of a fan of the 1st generation design but they've been discontinued for some time now. The box I have is an original kicker which you were supposed to be able to use the factory hex screws with however they're not long enough to accommodate the extra 1/4" in depth so you might have to take a run to the hardware store like I did to use them
